Element Optics Immersive 5x30 Product description

FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Compact 5x Prismatic Optical System: The fixed 5x magnification and prism-based optical design provide a detailed sight picture in an exceptionally short 147 mm housing, making the riflescope suitable for applications where compact dimensions and target visibility are important.
  • Wide Field of View: A field of view of 10.2 metres at 100 metres provides enhanced peripheral awareness compared with many conventional riflescopes at similar magnification, allowing shooters to observe more of their surroundings.
  • ED Glass Optical System: Extra-low dispersion glass reduces chromatic aberration and improves image sharpness, helping shooters distinguish fine details and maintain good contrast.
  • Illuminated LPR Reticles: Available with LPR-1D MRAD or LPR-1D BDC reticles, featuring push-button illumination and aiming references suited to different shooting requirements.
  • Adjustable Mounting and Side Parallax: The tilt-adjustable Unimount with two included base lengths provides mounting flexibility, while the side parallax adjustment from approximately 6 metres to infinity allows precise focusing at different distances.

ABOUT THE ELEMENT OPTICS IMMERSIVE SERIES

The Element Optics Immersive series is a family of compact prismatic riflescopes developed for shooters seeking a different optical experience from conventional riflescopes. The series combines fixed magnification, high-quality optical glass, and a distinctive viewing system designed to provide an unusually wide field of view relative to the size of the optic.

Unlike conventional riflescopes, which typically present the image as a distant circular view, Immersive prismatic optics create a viewing experience that gives the shooter a stronger impression of being visually connected to the surrounding scene. This design improves peripheral awareness and allows a larger portion of the environment to remain visible through the sight.

The series incorporates extra-low dispersion (ED) glass, which reduces chromatic aberration and supports improved image sharpness and contrast. This helps maintain a clear sight picture when observing targets and identifying details at different distances.

Immersive riflescopes feature illuminated reticles operated through a push-button control system. Depending on the model, different reticle configurations are available to support angular measurements, ballistic compensation, and precise aiming.

The series also incorporates practical mechanical features, including adjustable mounting solutions, parallax adjustment, and resettable turrets. The compact optical housings are designed to reduce overall bulk while maintaining the mechanical functionality required for shooting applications.

Element Optics offers different fixed-magnification configurations within the Immersive series, allowing users to select a model according to their preferred shooting distances and mounting requirements.

ABOUT THE ELEMENT OPTICS IMMERSIVE 5X30

The Element Optics Immersive 5x30 is an ultra-compact prismatic riflescope designed for shooters who require fixed magnification, a wide field of view, and reliable mechanical adjustments in a short optical housing. Its 5x magnification and 30 mm objective lens make it suitable for target shooting, recreational shooting, and precision applications at short to intermediate distances.

The riflescope uses a prism-based optical system that differs from the traditional construction of conventional riflescopes. By incorporating a prism assembly into a compact housing, Element Optics has created an optical system that provides a particularly immersive viewing experience. Instead of appearing as a small image positioned far ahead of the shooter, the sight picture provides a more immediate perspective of the target and surrounding environment.

One of the distinguishing characteristics of the Immersive 5x30 is its wide field of view of 10.2 metres at 100 metres. This allows the shooter to observe a relatively large area while benefiting from the additional target detail provided by 5x magnification. The wider viewing area is particularly useful for maintaining awareness of the surrounding environment and locating targets efficiently.

The optical system incorporates extra-low dispersion (ED) glass, which is designed to minimize chromatic aberration and improve the sharpness of the image. By reducing unwanted colour fringing around high-contrast objects, ED glass helps preserve detail and provides a clearer viewing experience. The 30 mm objective lens contributes to the compact construction while supporting practical optical performance.

Unlike variable-magnification riflescopes, the Immersive 5x30 provides a fixed 5x magnification. This eliminates the need to adjust magnification and allows the shooter to work with a consistent sight picture. The fixed optical configuration is particularly practical for users who prefer a straightforward aiming system without additional zoom controls.

The riflescope is available with two illuminated reticle configurations: LPR-1D MRAD and LPR-1D BDC. The LPR-1D MRAD reticle provides angular reference markings for measured aiming corrections, while the LPR-1D BDC version incorporates ballistic holdover references. Both configurations allow shooters to select an aiming system suited to their individual shooting requirements.

Reticle illumination is operated through a push-button control system, allowing the illuminated aiming reference to be adjusted according to lighting conditions. The reticle remains a defined optical aiming reference, while illumination improves its visibility when additional contrast is required.

The Immersive 5x30 features capped, resettable elevation and windage turrets. The adjustment system depends on the selected reticle configuration. The MRAD version provides 0.1 MRAD clicks with 6 MRAD per revolution, while the BDC version features 1/4 MOA clicks with 15 MOA per revolution. The adjustment mechanisms allow precise zeroing, while the protective turret caps help prevent accidental changes during handling and transportation.

The available elevation and windage adjustment ranges are 28 MRAD for the MRAD configuration and 83 MOA for the MOA-based configuration. These adjustment ranges provide mechanical flexibility for establishing the desired point of impact.

A practical feature is the side parallax adjustment, which allows focusing from approximately 6 metres to infinity. This is especially useful when shooting at shorter distances, where fixed-parallax riflescopes may not provide the same degree of image focus and parallax correction. The side-mounted adjustment control allows the shooter to adapt the optical system without changing the primary shooting position.

The riflescope provides an 85 mm eye relief, offering sufficient distance between the eye and eyepiece for use with rifles that generate substantial recoil. This makes the 5x30 configuration more versatile than shorter-eye-relief models within the Immersive series.

Another important feature is the included tilt-adjustable Unimount. The mounting system is supplied with two base lengths, allowing greater flexibility when positioning the riflescope on compatible mounting rails. The adjustable mounting arrangement helps accommodate different firearm configurations and preferred shooting positions.

An accessory rail section is also included, allowing compatible accessories to be mounted alongside the optical system. This provides additional flexibility for users who require supplementary equipment as part of their shooting configuration.

The riflescope is designed for regular outdoor use and features waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction. Its nitrogen-purged housing helps prevent internal condensation during changing temperatures and weather conditions.

With an overall length of only 147 mm and a weight of 486 grams, the Immersive 5x30 offers an unusually compact alternative to conventional fixed-magnification riflescopes. Its combination of ED glass, wide field of view, illuminated reticles, adjustable mounting, and precise mechanical controls makes it a practical optical solution for shooters who value compact dimensions and a distinctive viewing experience.
