Immersive Optics 10x40

• 10x prismatic design: Fixed 10x magnification gives a stable sight picture for precise aiming, while the prism layout keeps the scope shorter and easier to balance on compact rifle setups.
• Ultra-wide field of view: A field of view of 11.40 m/100m helps the shooter pick up targets faster and maintain awareness around the aiming point, which is useful when positions or distances change quickly.
• FFP illuminated reticle: The first focal plane reticle keeps its subtensions consistent through the optical system, so holdovers and ranging references remain practical, with red illumination improving visibility against dark backgrounds.
• Close side focus: Side parallax adjustment from 7m to infinity allows the scope to stay sharp at unusually short distances for a 10x optic, making it more flexible for mixed-range shooting.
• Compact sealed construction: Nitrogen filling, waterproof sealing and shockproof construction support reliable use in wet weather, changing temperatures and regular field handling.

About the Immersive Optics Rifle Scopes Series

Immersive Optics Rifle Scopes are a family of compact prismatic rifle scopes built around the idea that a fixed-power optic can be shorter, lighter and easier to handle than a conventional long-tube design. The series is offered in 5x, 10x and 14x magnification options, giving shooters a choice between fast general-purpose use and more deliberate precision work. Across the range, the prism-based layout is paired with nitrogen-filled optical channels and waterproof sealing, reflecting a design approach that prioritises practical field durability without adding unnecessary bulk.

The series also stands out for its emphasis on optical usability. Immersive Optics states that these scopes use extra-low-dispersion glass and can focus down to 6 metres, which is unusual for higher-magnification fixed scopes and broadens their usefulness at short and medium distances. Reticle choices vary by model and include illuminated Mildot and Mildot Extended patterns, giving the range a clear bias toward holdover-based shooting rather than simple hunting-style aiming points. In practice, the series suits shooters who want tactical or precision-oriented optics with a wide field of view, low overall weight and a format that keeps the rifle feeling compact and well balanced.

About the Immersive Optics 10x40

The Immersive Optics 10x40 is the most versatile high-magnification model in the range, combining 10x magnification with a 40.00 mm objective lens in a body that is only 135.00 mm long. That combination makes it well suited to shooters who want more target detail than a low-power prism scope can provide, but do not want the size and forward weight of a traditional riflescope. The wide 11.40 m/100m field of view helps preserve awareness around the target, so the optic remains practical not only for deliberate aiming, but also for faster target transitions than most conventional fixed 10x scopes allow.

This model uses a first focal plane illuminated reticle, available in Mildot-based configurations, which is a practical choice for holdovers and reference marks because the reticle scale remains proportionate within the optical system. The red illumination helps the aiming pattern stand out in poor contrast conditions without changing the underlying reticle structure. Side focus adjustment from 7m to infinity adds useful flexibility, allowing the scope to stay sharp at close distances where many fixed-power optics are less comfortable to use.

Mechanically, the 10x40 is configured with tactical multi-turn turrets offering 28.00 mrad of elevation and windage travel, with 5 MIL or 15 MOA per turn. That gives the shooter enough adjustment range for careful zeroing and extended-distance correction in a compact optic. Fully multicoated lenses, nitrogen filling and a waterproof, fogproof and shockproof build support dependable use in changing weather and regular field handling. Because the eye relief is 17.00 mm, this scope is best suited to recoilless platforms where the short eye position can be used safely and consistently.

About Immersive Optics

Immersive Optics Ltd was incorporated in Scotland on March 1, 2021 and is based in Glasgow, United Kingdom. The company focuses on practical shooting equipment, developing scopes, mounts, accessories and rangefinders for field and target use. Its product range shows a clear emphasis on compact optical systems and mounting solutions that keep rifles manageable without giving up precision.

Within this category, Immersive Optics is known for combining prismatic scope layouts with features more often associated with larger optics, including extra-low-dispersion glass and close-focus capability down to 6 metres. The company also offers SwiftLock quick-detach mounting systems and the SwiftRange rangefinder, which can connect to a smartphone for ballistic calculations. Taken together, these products position the brand around lightweight, function-driven shooting optics rather than broad general outdoor equipment.
