During our visit to Steiner’s booth at Shot Show 2024, we learned that their main product launches were set for Jagd und Hund in Dortmund, an event planned for after the Shot Show. However, Steiner still showcased a couple of noteworthy new products: the TM3X, a premium magnifier, and the T1Xi, a superior small tube red dot sight. This article will provide a brief review of the magnifier.

Extremely robust and durable
Steiner’s reputation for durability is well-established, and this is evident in both the T1Xi and TM3X, which are constructed to endure extreme conditions. There’s no concern about water damage, as TM3X is fully waterproof, capable of being submerged up to 20 meters. It is nitrogen-filled to eliminate internal fogging and can tolerate temperatures from as low as –51 °C to as high as 70 °C. Despite its sturdy build, TM3X is surprisingly light at 200 grams. It is equipped with a flip-to-side mount that securely clicks in place when both in the side and upright positions. The mount is of the fixed type and designed for the Picatinny rail. Adjustments for elevation and windage are made through two screws that are flush with the housing for added protection.
Superb in clarity
As the name suggests, TM3X provides 3x magnification. It is designed to work perfectly with T1Xi but can be used with any other similarly designed red dot sight. The optical quality is, as expected, at a very high level. With the eyepiece ring, the diopter can be set from -2 to +2.
Coming in March, 2024
Since Steiner TM3X is a premium product, it comes at a premium price – 899 EUR. It is going to be available for purchase in March, 2024. It is covered by a 10-year warranty period.
