Rusan Modular Adapter for Dedal

• Dedal M52x0.75 Interface: built for the Dedal mounting standard (M52x0.75), this adapter provides the correct connection point for compatible thermal clip-on devices and helps maintain a secure, repeatable fit.
• Modular System Concept: as part of the Rusan modular adapter system, it lets one clip-on setup be matched with different riflescope diameters by changing the rear clamp section instead of replacing the whole interface.
• Steel Construction: the steel body gives the adapter the rigidity needed for dependable alignment, which matters when a clip-on device must return to the same position after removal and reinstallation.
• Broad Rear Compatibility: compatibility with riflescope outer diameters from 30 mm to 67 mm gives the system flexibility across many daytime optics, making it easier to standardize one clip-on setup across several rifles.
• Compact Dedicated Accessory: designed specifically for thermal clip-on use, it adds the connection needed for the device without introducing unnecessary complexity to the mounting arrangement.

About the Rusan Accessories Series

Rusan Accessories is the part of the Rusan range dedicated to the practical connection of optics, mounts, and clip-on devices. Within this family, the focus is on adapters and reduction rings that allow night-vision and thermal clip-on devices to be paired correctly with daytime riflescopes. The series includes both conventional adapter solutions and the newer modular system, giving users a choice between a more fixed setup and a more flexible one.

The modular concept is especially important in hunting optics and thermal imaging use, because it allows one clip-on device to be shared across multiple rifles or matched with different riflescopes by changing the relevant adapter section. Rusan completed its first modular-adapter prototype in 2020, and the design remains in production as a practical answer to changing field requirements. Across the series, the design philosophy is straightforward: precise machining, secure mechanical engagement, and a product range broad enough to cover different clip-on standards, riflescope diameters, and accessory needs without forcing the user into a one-rifle-only setup.

About the Rusan Modular Adapter for Dedal

The Rusan Modular Adapter for Dedal is a dedicated interface component for users running a Dedal-standard thermal clip-on with an M52x0.75 mounting thread. Its role is simple but important: it creates the correct front-side connection between the clip-on device and the rest of the Rusan modular adapter system, so the device can then be paired with a suitable rear clamp for the riflescope in use.

In practice, this modular approach is valuable because it separates the device-side connection from the scope-side diameter fit. Instead of treating the adapter as a single fixed part, the system lets the user keep the Dedal-specific front interface and combine it with rear sections sized for different riflescopes, including diameters such as 48 mm, 56 mm, 62 mm, 63.5 mm, 65 mm, and 67 mm. That makes the setup more adaptable for shooters who use more than one rifle or who change daytime optics over time.

The adapter is made from steel, which suits the job well because a clip-on mounting interface must resist wear and hold alignment under repeated installation cycles. Finished in black, it matches the subdued appearance expected of field equipment. As a purpose-built clip-on accessory rather than a universal improvised part, it is intended to support a cleaner, more repeatable mounting arrangement for thermal use in hunting and observation applications.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is a Croatian manufacturer based in Marija Bistrica, with roots in the Rusan family’s metalworking business dating back to 1983. The company entered optics-related production in 1993, when it began manufacturing scope mounts, and it has since built a product range that includes scope mounts, rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning products.

Rusan is particularly well known for practical mounting solutions for clip-on devices. It introduced its original adapter for connecting riflescopes with night-vision clip-ons to the global market in 2009, and it later expanded that concept with modular adapters for thermal and night-vision systems. This background is directly relevant to products such as the Rusan Modular Adapter for Dedal, which reflects the company’s emphasis on precise machining, compatibility across different platforms, and field-oriented mechanical design.
