Rusan Q-R Adapter for Hikmicro Thunder

• Quick-release attachment: the Q-R design lets the clip-on be mounted and removed quickly, which is useful when switching between daytime use and thermal observation without a slow reinstallation process.
• Made for Hikmicro Thunder: the adapter is built around the Hikmicro Thunder bayonet standard, giving a direct mechanical interface that helps keep the clip-on properly aligned with the riflescope.
• Conventional one-piece concept: this adapter provides a straightforward connection between riflescope and thermal clip-on, reducing extra parts and keeping the setup simple in the field.
• Croatian metalworking manufacture: produced by Rusan in Croatia, it reflects the company’s long focus on mounts and adapter systems where machining precision matters for secure fit and repeatable positioning.
• 30 mm size configuration: this ARH-30c version is intended for the matching scope diameter, helping build a properly fitted clip-on setup rather than relying on improvised spacers or loose interfaces.

About the Rusan Accessories Series

Rusan Accessories is the part of the Rusan-Mikron range dedicated to connecting optics and electro-optics in a practical way. The series includes adapters and reduction rings for mounting night-vision and thermal clip-on devices to riflescopes, alongside related mounting components. Within the broader Rusan lineup of rails, rings and scope mounts, this family serves hunters and shooters who need to integrate modern clip-on technology with conventional daytime optics.

A defining characteristic of the series is its focus on system compatibility. Rusan offers both conventional and modular adapter systems, covering specific night-vision and thermal-device platforms as well as accessories and spare parts. The modular concept was developed so one clip-on device can be shared across multiple rifles or paired with different riflescopes more efficiently, while the conventional adapters remain a direct and simple solution for dedicated setups. Across the series, the design philosophy is mechanical rather than electronic: precise fit, dependable locking surfaces and repeatable attachment are the priorities, because these are the features that matter most when a clip-on device is mounted in front of a daytime riflescope.

About the Rusan Q-R Adapter for Hikmicro Thunder

The Rusan Q-R Adapter for Hikmicro Thunder is a dedicated mounting accessory for building a front-mounted thermal clip-on setup around the Hikmicro Thunder bayonet interface. In practice, its role is straightforward but important: it creates the mechanical link between the clip-on and the riflescope so the thermal unit can be attached securely and removed again without turning the rifle into a permanently dedicated night setup.

This ARH-30c version is the 30 mm configuration, intended for riflescopes with the corresponding outer dimension at the mounting point. Choosing the correct diameter matters because a properly matched adapter supports a stable fit and consistent positioning, both of which are essential for clip-on use. The adapter follows Rusan’s conventional one-piece approach, which keeps the system simple and robust for users who want a direct solution rather than a more complex multi-part arrangement.

The quick-release format is especially useful for hunting optics, where conditions can change quickly between daylight observation and thermal use. A fast on-off interface makes the clip-on easier to deploy, transport and share between suitable riflescope setups. Finished in black and made by a manufacturer known for mounts and adapter hardware, this accessory is aimed at users who value a clean mechanical fit, compatibility with the Thunder platform and a mounting method that supports regular field handling.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is a Croatian manufacturer based in Marija Bistrica, with roots in the Rusan family’s metalworking business dating back to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993. That background is important because Rusan’s reputation in this category comes from machining and fit rather than from consumer electronics.

Today, the company produces scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails and firearm tuning products, along with adapter systems for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices. Rusan introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009, and that long involvement in clip-on mounting systems is directly relevant to products such as the Hikmicro Thunder adapter. The brand is particularly well known for practical interface components that let riflescopes, thermal clip-ons and mounting platforms work together with secure alignment and repeatable installation.
