Dear Sir!

For mounting the riflescope in the 30 mm rings, we recommend a torque of approximately 2.0–2.2 Nm.

For adjusting the clamping tension of the mount on your Sauer 505, the torque should be around 5 Nm. However, you can also adjust this without a torque screwdriver. The QD levers should require firm but reasonable pressure to open and close – they should neither be excessively tight nor too easy to operate.

Hello, I have a quick question regarding the Blaser Lever Screw for Blaser Saddle Mount. Does this part include the star screw that secures the lever to the saddle mount, or does it only include the lever assembly shown in the picture? The lever screw includes only the lever and the spring. The star screw is located on the opposite side and is not included with the lever assembly.

The original Blaser QD Saddle Mount, 30 mm should work perfectly with your Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x44 and Blaser R8 rifle.

The choice of height depends largely on your personal preference. In terms of objective clearance, even the lowest version with a height of 15.5 mm should work with your Leupold scope.

The optimal saddle mount height depends on user preference and setup, but generally anything above 15 mm will work perfectly for your S&B Zenith 2.5-10x56.

If you plan to use a thermal or night vision clip-on device in the future, or a suppressor, we would recommend an 18 mm high mount.

We would recommend BH 18mm. With even lower BH 15.5mm rings, unfortunately, the belly under the turrets will collide with the base of the scope mount.

Saw youtube videos about the optics 3d tool to check measurements when deciding what to get.

I am getting a R8 Ultimate HunTec in 6,5x55 and want to mount a Blaser B2 2,5-15x56 on rail. I think that a LOW rail will be enough, but if i one day buy a silence barrel, will it still work then?

For this configuration, I selected a Match barrel, and as you can see, there is plenty of clearance between the objective and the barrel (around 4.6 mm). So, the low Blaser mount works perfectly in this setup.

However, with a fully silenced barrel, we unfortunately cannot provide exact clearance measurements yet, as we don’t have that barrel available. Based on our experience, though, the low mount will likely be too low for a fully silenced setup — we would recommend choosing a higher mount to ensure proper clearance.

Additionally, with the low mount, a front mounted silencer will be more visible through the scope at low magnifications—especially if it’s a thicker model. A slimmer silencer will cause less obstruction in the field of view.

To mount the Delta Titanium HD 2.5–15×56 on a Blaser R8 with a Blaser QD Saddle Mount, and to have enough space for an additional clip-on device, I recommend using an 18 mm tall mount.

I have a Blaser R8 rifle with a semi-weihgt barrel (19mm) and I have now bought a Nocpix Ace S60R thermal scope and I wonder which is the correct mounting now - height?

As the scope is a 30mm barrel the Blaser QD Saddle Mount fits, 30mm only the height I can't calculate or measure now and I wonder if you can help me.

Blaser saddle mount 30mm rings with Zeiss Victory HT scope.

Mounted my Zeiss Victory HT 2.5-10x50 on Blaser saddle mount with 15.5mm build height is perfect. Zeiss Victory HT 3-12x56 on Blaser saddle mount with 18mm build height is perfect. Blaser mount is basic and probably the best option.
