Wheeler FAT Wrench AutoTorque - Spare Battery

• Dedicated AutoTorque compatibility: Built specifically for the Wheeler F.A.T. Wrench AutoTorque, this spare battery keeps the tool ready for scope mounting, action screw work and other torque-sensitive gunsmithing jobs without interrupting the workflow.
• 12V lithium-ion power: The 12V Lithium-Ion design gives the AutoTorque the stable cordless power it needs for repeatable fastening, while avoiding the inconvenience of disposable batteries at the bench.
• 2-hour continuous runtime: A single charge supports extended work sessions, making it practical for multi-rifle setups, optic installation projects and general firearm maintenance.
• Quick-check LED status: The built-in LED battery status indicator lets the user check remaining charge before starting a job, reducing the chance of stopping midway through a mounting or assembly task.
• USB-C charging: Recharging through USB-C makes the battery simple to top up with common modern charging gear, which is useful on the workbench, in the range bag or while traveling.

About the F.A.T. Wrench Series

The Wheeler F.A.T. Wrench series is built around one core purpose: applying the correct torque to firearm fasteners with better consistency than a standard screwdriver. In Wheeler's lineup, the series sits among the brand's best-known gunsmithing and scope-mounting tools, serving shooters who install optics, secure action screws and maintain rifles, shotguns and handguns with more control. The family includes manual, digital and powered formats, but the common theme is practical torque management for work where over-tightening can damage threads, distort rings or affect zero.

Across the range, the emphasis is on repeatable low-torque adjustment, straightforward handling and compatibility with the fasteners commonly found on modern firearms. That makes F.A.T. Wrench products relevant to both occasional maintenance and more regular bench work. Within the series, the AutoTorque platform adds rechargeable battery power and a digital interface to speed up repetitive fastening tasks while preserving the controlled approach that made the F.A.T. Wrench name familiar in gunsmithing circles.

About the Wheeler FAT Wrench AutoTorque - Spare Battery

The Wheeler FAT Wrench AutoTorque - Spare Battery is a purpose-built power source for the F.A.T. Wrench AutoTorque, intended for users who want to keep a cordless torque driver available for longer bench sessions or back-to-back mounting jobs. As a dedicated spare rather than a generic replacement, it supports the AutoTorque system exactly as intended, which matters when the tool is used for scope bases, rings, red dot mounting and action screws where steady operation helps maintain a smooth workflow.

This battery uses a 12V lithium-ion format and delivers a 2-hour continuous runtime on a single charge. In practice, that gives the user enough reserve for extended setup work without having to stop and wait for the main battery to recharge. For anyone setting up multiple rifles or working through a full maintenance session, a second battery reduces downtime and keeps the AutoTorque ready when precise fastening is needed.

The battery also includes a quick-check LED battery status feature, which is especially useful in workshop use because charge level can be checked before starting a job. That helps avoid losing power halfway through a sequence of screws that should be tightened in a controlled order. USB-C charging adds convenience, since the pack can be recharged with widely available modern cables and power sources. Overall, this accessory is a simple but practical addition for anyone using the AutoTorque as a regular part of firearm setup and maintenance.

About Wheeler

Wheeler is an owned brand of American Outdoor Brands and is focused on tools for gunsmithing and firearm maintenance. The brand's catalog covers practical bench and field equipment for shooters who install optics, service firearms and handle routine maintenance with more control. Its range includes gunsmithing screwdrivers and wrenches, along with scope-mounting tools and scope rings, which places Wheeler firmly in the part of the market centered on correct fit, repeatable torque and workshop organization.

Beyond general maintenance tools, Wheeler also offers specialized products such as bore-lapping tools and sight-adjustment tools, as well as AR-focused equipment. The Delta Series, for example, is aimed at AR-platform assembly and maintenance, while the broader lineup includes armorer's kits and vise blocks. That combination gives Wheeler a strong identity as a firearms tool brand rather than a general hardware maker.
