ABOUT THE WARNE MAXIMA 2 PIECE BASE FOR STEYR MANNLICHER M & MS

The Warne Maxima 2 Piece Base for Steyr Mannlicher M & MS provides a strong and reliable foundation for mounting a rifle scope on your firearm. While often chosen for its affordability and direct compatibility with Weaver-style rings, its two-piece design, crafted from durable steel, offers superior strength compared to many aluminium alternatives. This makes it an excellent choice for hunters and sport shooters who demand maximum resilience from their mounts, especially when paired with powerful calibres and used in challenging environments. Unlike more easily installed one-piece Picatinny rails, achieving perfect alignment with two-piece bases requires expert attention to detail across height, longitudinal, and horizontal axes. Failure to do so can induce stress on the scope tube, potentially leading to poor accuracy or even optic damage. Users seeking a robust, dedicated mounting solution for their Steyr Mannlicher M & MS will appreciate the Maxima's construction, but should seriously consider professional installation to unlock its full potential and avoid common mounting pitfalls.
