US Optics TS 1-8x24 SFP

• 1-8x magnification range: True low power supports fast target acquisition at close distance, while 8x on the top end gives this LPVO enough reach for more deliberate shots across open ground.
• Second focal plane illuminated reticle: The reticle stays visually fine at higher magnification and remains easy to see in changing light, which helps when the scope is used as a general-purpose hunting or carbine optic.
• Capped 1/4 MOA turrets: Protected adjustment knobs reduce the chance of accidental movement in the field, while the familiar click value makes zeroing straightforward and repeatable.
• 30 mm tube with 100 MOA adjustment range: The main tube provides a solid mounting standard and generous elevation and windage travel, giving the scope flexibility across different rifle setups.
• Fully multicoated optics and rugged construction: Lens coatings support contrast and image brightness, while waterproof, fogproof and shockproof construction helps the scope stay dependable in hard outdoor use.

About the US Optics TS Series

The US Optics TS series was introduced under the USO label as a more accessible alternative alongside the company’s boutique high-end optics. In this line, US Optics focused on practical low-power variable riflescopes that keep the core features many shooters want most: a 30 mm tube, illuminated reticles, and straightforward elevation and windage controls with 1/4 MOA clicks. The series centers on two LPVO formats, with the TS-6X covering 1-6x and the TS-8X extending that concept to 1-8x for users who want more reach without moving away from a compact carbine-style optic.

Across the range, the TS family is aimed at shooters who need one riflescope to cover close work, practical field shooting, and general hunting use. US Optics offered both first- and second-focal-plane configurations in the line, along with multiple reticle choices depending on model. The design philosophy is simple: keep the controls familiar, the format compact, and the optical system versatile enough for rifles that may be used at very different distances in the same outing. That makes the TS series a sensible fit for hunting optics, training carbines, and all-round rifles where speed and flexibility matter more than specialized long-range features.

About the US Optics TS 1-8x24 SFP

The US Optics TS 1-8x24 SFP is built as a versatile low-power variable riflescope for shooters who want one optic to handle both short-range speed and more measured shooting at distance. At 1x, the scope is well suited to fast target transitions and wide-area observation, helped by a broad 36.00 m/100m field of view. Turning up to 8.00x magnification gives the shooter more precision for smaller targets or longer shots, making this model a practical choice for general-purpose rifles, hunting carbines, and mixed-distance range use.

Its second focal plane reticle keeps the reticle appearance consistent in size as magnification changes, which many shooters prefer in an LPVO because the aiming point remains easy to pick up at low power and visually refined at the top end. Red illumination improves reticle visibility against dark backgrounds or in subdued light, while the 2.00 MOA dot supports quick sight picture acquisition. The fixed parallax setting at 92m suits the intended role of a general-purpose carbine scope and keeps operation simple under time pressure.

The mechanical layout also reflects field use. Capped turrets protect the 1/4 MOA adjustments from accidental movement when the rifle is carried through brush, packed in a vehicle, or used on the move. A 30 mm tube, 100.00 MOA of elevation and windage travel, and a constant 95.25 mm eye relief give the scope flexibility across different rifles and shooting positions. With fully multicoated lenses, a fast-focus eyepiece, and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof construction, this US Optics riflescope is designed to stay practical and easy to live with in real field conditions.

About US Optics

U.S. Optics was founded in 1991 in Buena Park, California, and has long focused on riflescopes and related shooting optics for demanding use. The company serves the competitive, hunting, and defense-shooting communities, and it is particularly well known for precision-oriented scope design. Among its notable lines is the SN-3, and the company also helped pioneer the low-power variable optic format that is now widely known as the LPVO.

Over time, U.S. Optics expanded from highly specialized builds into broader commercial offerings, including the SR, ST, MR, LR, and ER lines. After later ownership changes, the company moved to Kalispell, Montana, in 2017, then joined ZRO Delta and moved to Connelly Springs, North Carolina, in 2019, where its engineering team is located. That background is relevant here because the brand’s riflescopes are shaped by long experience in tactical optics, practical field use, and repeatable mechanical performance.
