ABOUT SWAMPFOX

Swampfox Optics is an American optics manufacturer focused on modern tactical, sporting, and hunting optics. The company develops feature-rich optics designed around durability, practical functionality, and strong real-world performance for demanding shooters.

ABOUT THE WARHORSE SERIES

The Swampfox Warhorse series represents Swampfox’s premium first focal plane LPVO lineup developed for shooters who require advanced tactical functionality, durable construction, and versatile optical performance.

The Warhorse 1-6x24 combines a first focal plane reticle system, bright fiber optic illumination, locking tactical turrets, and a rugged 34 mm tube design into a riflescope optimized for tactical carbines, competition rifles, and defensive rifle setups.

Compared to traditional second focal plane LPVO optics, the Warhorse allows all holdovers and ranging references to remain accurate throughout the full magnification range, making it especially suitable for dynamic shooting situations and tactical applications.

This model is available in the following configurations:

• Warhorse 1-6x24 FFP Green MIL 34 mm
• Warhorse 1-6x24 FFP Red MIL 34 mm
• Warhorse 1-6x24 FFP Green MOA 34 mm
• Warhorse 1-6x24 FFP Red MOA 34 mm

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Swampfox Warhorse 1-6x24 features a rugged aircraft-grade aluminum housing engineered to withstand heavy recoil and demanding field conditions. The riflescope is waterproof, fogproof, nitrogen purged, and impact resistant for reliable use in difficult environments.

The optic utilizes push/pull locking tactical turrets with zero-reset functionality. This system allows shooters to securely lock turret positions during transport or active use while still enabling rapid and repeatable corrections.

The large 34 mm main tube increases adjustment range while also improving structural rigidity and optical performance.

The riflescope includes a removable throw lever that allows faster and more intuitive magnification adjustments during dynamic shooting situations.

The illumination system uses a side-mounted CR2032 battery and features tactile brightness controls with intermittent off positions between brightness settings for faster operation and improved battery management.

OPTICAL PROPERTIES

The 1-6x magnification range provides excellent versatility for both close-quarters shooting and medium-range precision applications. At true 1x magnification, the optic supports extremely fast target acquisition and both-eyes-open shooting techniques similar to a red dot sight.

At 6x magnification, the riflescope delivers additional target detail and improved precision for more demanding shots and target identification at extended distances.

The reticle is positioned in the first focal plane, meaning the reticle scales proportionally with magnification. This ensures that holdovers, ranging references, and ballistic corrections remain accurate throughout the entire zoom range.

Depending on the selected configuration, the optic is available with either MIL or MOA reticle systems together with red or green fiber optic illumination.

The fiber optic illumination system produces an extremely bright center aiming point optimized for rapid target acquisition in bright daylight conditions while still maintaining excellent visibility in low-light environments.

The optical system features fully multi-coated lenses together with anti-fog and hydrophobic protective coatings that improve light transmission, reduce glare, and maintain visibility in difficult weather conditions.
