Streamlight Siege AA Lantern with Magnetic Base

• 360° area lighting: The Siege AA spreads soft, even light around camp, a work area, or a boat deck, making it easier to light a wider space than a directional flashlight.
• White and red LED modes: White output handles general illumination, while the red LEDs help preserve night-adapted vision and add an SOS mode for emergency signaling.
• Magnetic base and hanging options: The magnetic base, locking handle, hook, and D-ring make hands-free placement simple on steel surfaces, ropes, cables, or overhead mounting points.
• AA battery power: Using common AA batteries keeps the lantern practical for travel, emergency kits, and extended outdoor use where charging may not be available.
• Waterproof polymer body: The polymer housing and waterproof construction help the lantern keep working in wet weather, around water, and in rough everyday use.

About the Streamlight Survivor Series

The Streamlight Survivor series is built around durable LED lighting tools intended for demanding professional use, especially in firefighter and safety applications. Streamlight currently lists eight products in the Survivor family, with the range covering several formats including Survivor, Survivor X, and Survivor Pivot designs. Across the series, the focus is on dependable handling, practical carry options, and lighting performance suited to users who work in difficult environments rather than occasional casual use.

The lineup includes both rechargeable and alkaline-powered models, giving users a choice between lower running cost and easier field battery replacement. Streamlight also offers USB-rechargeable variants such as the Survivor X USB and Survivor Pivot USB, while certain models in the family are listed as ATEX-rated for specialized hazardous-area applications. Typical Survivor-series design cues include a low-profile bezel, a spring-loaded gear clip, and a D-ring for forward-hanging use, reflecting a design philosophy centered on hands-free utility, secure carry, and reliable operation in real working conditions.

About the Streamlight Siege AA Lantern with Magnetic Base

The Streamlight Siege AA Lantern with Magnetic Base is a compact camping lantern designed for users who need broad, practical illumination rather than a narrow flashlight beam. Its 200 lumen white LED output is paired with a glare-reducing cover that produces soft 360° light, which is especially useful around campsites, inside tents, on boats, or during power outages where harsh directional light can be uncomfortable. When more open-area illumination is needed, the cover can be removed to spread light more freely.

This model stands out for its flexible placement options. The magnetic base allows the lantern to attach to steel surfaces for hands-free work, while the locking handle, integrated hook, and D-ring make it easy to stand, hang, or suspend overhead. That versatility matters in garages, utility work, vehicle repairs, and outdoor shelters where a lantern often needs to light the space from above rather than from hand level.

The lighting system combines one white LED and two red LEDs, giving the Siege AA both general-purpose and low-signature modes. The red setting helps preserve night vision, while the SOS mode adds emergency signaling capability with very long runtime. Powered by AA batteries, the lantern remains easy to support in the field without relying on charging equipment. Its polymer body, waterproof construction, and stable rubber-molded base make it well suited to wet weather, uneven ground, and regular transport in outdoor or work gear.
