Streamlight ProTac 1L-1AA Clip Torch

• Dual-fuel flexibility: The ProTac 1L-1AA runs on either a CR123A or AA battery, making it easier to keep the light working with whatever cell is available at home, in a vehicle, or in a field kit.
• Compact 350-lumen output: With up to 350 lumens from a light only 108.00 mm long, it delivers useful reach and situational awareness without adding bulk to everyday carry.
• Adjustable intensity: Variable output lets the user balance brightness and runtime, so the torch can handle quick close-range tasks as well as longer use when battery conservation matters.
• Aluminium body: The aluminium housing keeps weight down at 71.00 g while providing the durability expected from a handheld light carried daily in a pocket, bag, or work kit.
• Waterproof handheld design: The sealed construction helps the light stay dependable in rain, wet work conditions, and general outdoor use where a non-protected torch would be more vulnerable.

About the Streamlight Survivor Series

The Streamlight Survivor series is built around right-angle LED flashlights intended for firefighter and safety use. Within Streamlight’s broader lighting range, this family focuses on hands-free practicality, with a low-profile bezel, a spring-loaded gear clip, and a D-ring for forward-hanging use. That layout makes the series especially suitable for users who need task lighting that stays secure on clothing or equipment while keeping both hands free.

The family includes Survivor, Survivor X, and Survivor Pivot variants, with both rechargeable and alkaline-powered models in the range. Streamlight also lists USB-rechargeable versions and ATEX-rated models, showing that the series is designed to cover everything from routine industrial work to more specialized safety environments. Across the line, the emphasis is on durable construction, practical carry options, and dependable LED illumination rather than compact everyday-carry dimensions.

About the Streamlight ProTac 1L-1AA Clip Torch

The Streamlight ProTac 1L-1AA Clip Torch is a compact handheld flashlight designed for everyday carry, general outdoor use, and work tasks where size matters as much as output. Its defining advantage is the dual-fuel power system: it accepts either a CR123A or AA battery. In practice, that gives the light far more flexibility than single-battery designs. A CR123A can be used when higher output is the priority, while a common AA cell is easier to source when travelling, at work, or in an emergency.

With up to 350 lumens from an LED emitter, the light provides enough intensity for navigation, equipment checks, and short-range searching, yet remains easy to carry thanks to its 108.00 mm length and 71.00 g weight. The push-button interface keeps operation simple under stress or with gloves, while the adjustable intensity setting allows the user to shift between stronger illumination and longer usable runtime depending on the task.

The aluminium body gives the torch the rigidity needed for regular pocket or kit carry without making it heavy. Its waterproof construction adds reassurance for wet weather, vehicle use, and routine professional use outdoors. Altogether, this Streamlight handheld flashlight is aimed at users who want a practical EDC light with straightforward controls, compact dimensions, and the battery flexibility to stay useful in more situations.

About Streamlight

Streamlight was established in 1973 in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The company specializes in rechargeable lighting products and LED lighting, and over time it expanded into a broad portfolio that includes flashlights, headlamps, lanterns, scene lights, and dedicated weapon-light and laser-sighting devices. Streamlight moved its headquarters and production facilities to Norristown in 1977 and later to Eagleville, Pennsylvania in November 2001, where it remains headquartered.

Today, Streamlight designs, manufactures, and markets lighting tools for professional, industrial, outdoor, and tactical use.
