Sig Sauer QD Swivel Mount

• Quick-detach sling interface: The push-button QD design lets the sling be attached or removed quickly, which makes it easier to reconfigure a rifle for carry, transport, or supported shooting.
• Broad SIG platform compatibility: This mount is made for rifles including the CROSS, SIG MCX, SIG MPX, SIG516G2, SIG716, SIG716G2, and SIGM400, giving owners a factory-matched sling attachment option across several platforms.
• Accessory-focused SIG design: As part of the Sig Sauer Accessories range, it fits the same practical approach as SIG’s mounting and support components, helping users build a rifle setup around real field and range use.
• Secure sling connection point: A dedicated QD swivel mount provides a consistent attachment location for a sling, improving rifle handling during movement, transitions, and carry over longer periods.
• Compact upgrade for rifle handling: This type of accessory adds sling capability without changing the rifle’s core controls, making it a straightforward way to improve portability and retention.

About the Sig Sauer Accessories Series

Sig Sauer Accessories is the company’s broad support range for shooters who want to configure, maintain, and adapt their equipment around specific platforms and uses. The series covers mounting solutions, maintenance items, part kits, tools, slings, and accessories for optics and observation equipment, reflecting SIG SAUER’s practical approach to system-based product design. Rather than focusing on one category alone, the range supports handgun and rifle optics, as well as binoculars and rangefinders, so users can build out a complete setup with matching components.

Within the series, SIG SAUER includes items such as mounting plates, screws, lens covers, flip-back caps, cleaning accessories, and tripod adapters for compatible devices. That breadth makes the line especially relevant for shooters who want factory-matched accessories instead of generic add-ons. In use, the series is defined less by cosmetic styling than by platform compatibility, straightforward installation, and support for real handling needs such as carry, protection, transport, and maintenance. For rifle accessories like this QD mount, that means a simple, purpose-built component intended to integrate cleanly into a working firearm setup.

About the Sig Sauer QD Swivel Mount

The Sig Sauer QD Swivel Mount is a compact sling attachment accessory built for shooters who want a fast, practical way to add or manage a sling on compatible SIG rifle platforms. Its defining feature is the push-button quick-detach interface, a system commonly used for sling swivels because it allows the sling hardware to be inserted or removed without tools. In practice, that matters when a rifle needs to move between storage, transport, field carry, and supported shooting positions without a permanent fixed sling point getting in the way.

This mount is intended for use with the CROSS, SIG MCX, SIG MPX, SIG516G2, SIG716, SIG716G2, and SIGM400. That compatibility makes it useful for owners running multiple SIG platforms who want the same sling setup across different rifles. A dedicated QD point also helps with rifle retention and handling: it gives the sling a defined attachment location, which can improve how the firearm hangs on the body, how quickly it can be brought into position, and how easily it can be reconfigured for different carry methods.

Because it is a small accessory rather than a large structural part, the benefit is not added bulk but clean integration. It supports a more adaptable rifle setup while keeping the focus on function: quick sling changes, consistent attachment, and compatibility with established SIG firearm families.

About Sig Sauer

SIG SAUER traces its origins to a wagon factory established near the Rhine Falls in 1853 in Switzerland. Over time, the company developed into a major firearms manufacturer and today produces firearms, electro-optics, ammunition, airguns, and suppressors. Its optics portfolio includes riflescopes, red-dot sights, and rangefinders, showing that the brand works across both weapon systems and the accessories that support them.

SIG SAUER, Inc. is headquartered in Newington, New Hampshire, and the company is well known for building complete shooting systems rather than isolated products. In the optics segment, its lineup includes products such as the TANGO riflescope family, while its accessory catalog supports rifle, pistol, and observation platforms with mounts and related components. That broader product background is relevant here because accessories like the QD Swivel Mount are designed as part of a larger platform ecosystem, with an emphasis on compatibility and practical field use.
