Safariland Stand Alone Body Armor Plate

1. Advanced Ceramic Construction: Utilizes a sophisticated ceramic strike face combined with a composite backer. This design effectively shatters and stops high-velocity rifle rounds, providing critical protection against formidable threats.

2. Stand-Alone Capability: This plate is rated to perform to its specified NIJ threat level without the need for a separate soft armor panel behind it. This simplifies gear configuration and reduces overall bulk in a plate carrier.

3. Ergonomic Multi-Curve Design: Contoured both horizontally and vertically to match the natural shape of the human torso. This multi-curve profile enhances comfort, improves mobility, and allows for a closer, more secure fit.

4. NIJ Standard Certified: Engineered and rigorously tested to meet or exceed the performance standards set by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ). This certification ensures reliable, repeatable performance against specified ammunition.
