Safariland QLS2 Quick Locking Kit 2 with Two Recievers

• Quick-change mounting system: The QLS2 setup lets a holster move quickly between mounting points, which helps users reconfigure belt, shroud or platform setups without rebuilding the whole rig.
• Secure lock-up with fast release: The fork-and-receiver design stays positively engaged in use, yet releases with a pinch of the thumb and index finger for efficient gear changes.
• Angle-adjustable receiver plate: The receiver can be mounted at different angles, making it easier to tailor draw position and equipment placement to duty, range or training use.
• 3-hole Safariland holster compatibility: It attaches to Safariland holsters with the standard 3-hole pattern, giving a straightforward way to add modularity to established holster setups.
• Durable polymer construction: The polymer body keeps weight low while standing up to regular handling, making it suitable for hard-use holster applications.

About the Safariland Accessories Series

Safariland Accessories covers the supporting hardware that turns a holster into a more adaptable carry system. Rather than focusing on firearm retention alone, this series is built around the practical needs of law enforcement, military, range and training users who may need to change carry positions, swap platforms or tailor equipment layout to a specific role. The emphasis is on modularity, secure attachment and compatibility with established Safariland holster patterns.

Within the lineup, products such as mounting plates, loops, forks and adapters are designed to work as part of a larger system instead of as isolated parts. That approach matters in the field because it allows a user to keep a familiar holster while changing how and where it is carried. The series is defined by robust polymer construction, straightforward installation and a design philosophy centered on repeatable fit and dependable retention. In practice, Safariland Accessories are intended for users who want to build a holster setup around mission requirements, whether that means moving a sidearm between a belt loop, a tactical leg shroud or another stable platform.

About the Safariland QLS2 Quick Locking Kit 2 with Two Recievers

The Safariland QLS2 Quick Locking Kit 2 with Two Recievers is built for users who want one holster setup to work across multiple carry platforms. Its main advantage is the Quick Locking System, which uses a fork-and-receiver arrangement to let compatible holsters transfer quickly between attachment points. That makes it especially useful for duty, tactical and training setups where the same sidearm may need to move from a belt mount to a leg shroud or another stable platform without changing the holster body itself.

The receiver plate is made from polymer and can be attached at different angles, which gives the user more control over cant and placement. In practical terms, that helps fine-tune access, comfort and draw consistency around body armor, belts and other carried equipment. The system also works with Safariland holsters using the 3-hole pattern, making it a natural upgrade for existing Safariland holster users who want more flexibility without abandoning familiar gear.

Another key benefit is that the QLS arrangement maintains a secure connection while still allowing fast removal with a pinch of the thumb and index finger. That balance between retention and speed is what makes the kit useful in real use: it supports rapid equipment changes while keeping the mounted holster stable during movement. With two receiver plates in the kit, the system is particularly well suited to users setting up more than one mounting location.

About Safariland

Safariland was established in 1964 by Neale Perkins, who began the business in Sierra Madre, California. The company developed its reputation through duty gear and has expanded into a broad professional equipment portfolio that includes holsters, accessories, armor and communications products. Today, Safariland serves law enforcement, military, fire and rescue, competitive shooting and everyday markets, reflecting a strong focus on equipment that must function reliably under regular hard use.

The company is now headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. In the holster category, Safariland is especially known for retention-focused designs such as the ALS system, which secures the firearm internally and releases with a thumb lever. That background is directly relevant to accessories like the QLS system, because the brand’s mounting hardware is designed to support secure, modular holster setups rather than simple carry alone.
