Safariland 565BL Belt Slide 1.5" PLN

• Hi-ride carry position: The 565BL places the holster 1” higher than standard belt loops, helping keep the pistol closer to the body and improving comfort when seated or moving in and out of vehicles.
• 3-hole pattern compatibility: Built for Safariland 3-hole patterned holsters, this belt slide gives a straightforward way to change ride height without replacing the holster body.
• 1.5" belt fit: Sized for 1.5” (38mm) belts, it matches a common everyday and range belt width for a stable fit with less shifting during movement.
• Injection-molded polymer construction: The polymer body keeps weight low while providing the rigidity needed to support a pistol holster in regular duty, training, or range use.
• Ambidextrous setup potential: Its mounting format supports flexible holster configuration, making it a practical choice for users who need to adapt a compatible holster for different carry-side setups.

About the 565BL Series

The Safariland 565BL series is a belt-loop mounting solution for users who want a higher-riding holster position than standard belt attachments provide. Within Safariland’s holster accessory range, the 565BL sits as a simple, purpose-built option for adapting compatible holsters to a carry height that keeps the handgun closer to the waistline. That makes it especially relevant for uniformed use, range work, and general belt-mounted carry where comfort, access, and reduced bulk all matter.

Designed around the company’s 3-hole patterned holster interface, the series focuses on compatibility and straightforward installation rather than unnecessary complexity. The defining characteristic is its 1” higher ride, which changes how the holster sits on the belt and can improve clearance in confined spaces while maintaining a natural draw path. The series is offered in different belt-width versions, allowing users to match the loop to their preferred belt setup. Its injection-molded polymer construction reflects Safariland’s practical design approach: durable, light in weight, and suited to repeated use in professional and recreational environments.

About the Safariland 565BL Belt Slide 1.5" PLN

The Safariland 565BL Belt Slide 1.5" PLN is configured for shooters who use a 1.5” (38mm) belt and want a compatible Safariland holster to sit higher on the body. Its main advantage is the hi-ride geometry, which positions the holster about 1” higher than standard belt loops. In practical use, that can make the setup feel more compact on the belt, reduce the amount of holster hanging below the waist, and improve comfort when sitting, driving, or moving through tight spaces.

Because it is made for Safariland 3-hole patterned holsters, the 565BL works as a mounting component rather than a standalone holster. That gives users a way to tailor carry position without changing the holster shell they already rely on. The polymer construction keeps the attachment light and resistant to everyday wear, while still providing the rigidity needed to support a belt-mounted pistol setup. For range, training, professional, or field use, that balance of low weight and structural support helps keep the holster stable during movement.

This version is also a practical fit for users who prefer a cleaner, closer-to-body belt arrangement instead of lower-riding duty-style mounts. The result is a mounting accessory that emphasizes carry height, belt compatibility, and simple integration with established Safariland holster platforms.

About Safariland

Safariland was established in 1964 by Neale Perkins, who began the business in Sierra Madre, California. From the start, the company focused on protective and carry equipment, and it has grown into a well-known name for holsters, armor, accessories, and communications equipment. Its products are used across law enforcement, military, fire and rescue, competitive shooting, and everyday markets, which reflects a broad emphasis on practical equipment for professional and civilian users alike.

In the holster category, Safariland is especially known for functional retention and mounting systems developed around real-duty use. One of its notable technologies is the ALS holster system, which uses an internal lock released by a thumb lever. The company is now headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, and its long presence in the market has made it a familiar reference point for users who need durable handgun carry equipment and modular holster accessories.
