Rusan Picatinny rail - H&K 630/770/940

• Steel construction: The rail uses a steel body for a rigid mounting platform that resists flex under recoil and helps optics stay aligned over time.
• Picatinny interface: A full Picatinny top profile gives broad compatibility with modern riflescope rings and other sight mounts, making optic selection much easier.
• Model-specific fit: Built for the Heckler & Koch 630, 770, 940, SL6 and SL7, this base matches the rifle footprint properly for secure installation and dependable positioning.
• 0 MOA inclination: The flat rail keeps the optic in a neutral position, which suits general hunting and sporting setups where extra cant is not required.
• Compact 100.00 mm length: Its short format adds mounting capability without unnecessary bulk, helping preserve the handling balance of classic H&K rifles.

About the Rusan Picatinny Bases Series

Rusan Picatinny Bases are the company’s dedicated answer for shooters who want to fit modern optics to specific rifle models without resorting to generic adapters. The series sits within Rusan’s rail and mounting range as a practical interface between older or model-specific receivers and today’s widespread Picatinny mounting standard. That makes the line especially relevant for hunting rifles and sporting firearms that were not originally designed around current optic-mounting conventions.

Across the series, Rusan focuses on high-grade steel construction, a black oxide semi-gloss finish, and dimensions made around the MIL-STD-1913 pattern. In practical terms, that gives the user a stable platform for scope rings, red dot sights, or other Picatinny-compatible accessories while keeping the rail itself compact and mechanically straightforward. The range covers numerous rifle fits, and depending on the model, mounting layouts can vary from countersunk screw designs to other attachment solutions. Some rails in the family are also offered with added inclination, but the common theme throughout the series is a model-specific steel base built to provide repeatable optic mounting with minimal complication.

About the Rusan Picatinny rail - H&K 630/770/940

The Rusan Picatinny rail - H&K 630/770/940 is a model-specific mounting base made for classic Heckler & Koch 630, 770, 940, SL6 and SL7 rifles. Its main role is simple but important: it converts these rifles to a Picatinny-compatible mounting surface, opening the door to a much wider choice of modern riflescope rings and optic mounts than the original platform allows. For owners of these H&K rifles, that means easier optic selection and a more flexible setup for hunting or range use.

The rail is made from steel, which matters because a mount base has to do more than just hold an optic in place. A rigid steel rail helps maintain alignment between rifle and sight, especially when the rifle is carried often, fired repeatedly, or fitted with heavier optics. The 0 MOA inclination keeps the optic in a neutral position, which suits conventional zeroing distances and general-purpose shooting rather than specialized long-range correction. At 100.00 mm in length, the rail remains compact enough to avoid adding unnecessary bulk while still providing enough mounting space for suitable ring placement. The black finish keeps the look discreet and matches the practical, no-frills character expected from a steel hunting optics mount.

About Rusan

Rusan is a Croatian manufacturer with roots in the Rusan family metalworking business dating to 1983. The company’s development in firearms-related engineering followed with a gunsmith shop opened by Željko Rusan in 1986, and production of scope mounts beginning in 1993. Based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, Rusan-Mikron built its reputation around precisely machined mounting solutions for sporting and hunting firearms.

The company is particularly known for its work in scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and related firearm tuning products. It also produces adapter systems for clip-on night-vision and thermal-imaging devices, including the clip-on sight adapter clamp introduced in 2009. That background is directly relevant here: Rusan’s experience lies in making the mechanical connection between firearm and optic secure, repeatable, and compatible with modern sighting systems.
