Rusan Pivot mount without bases for Mauser M96, Pard NV008, one-piece

• Device-Specific Interface: Built for the Pard NV008 mounting standard, this one-piece upper keeps the attachment geometry matched to the device, which helps maintain a secure fit and consistent positioning on the rifle.
• Pivot-Mount Format: The pivot design lets the optic be attached and removed in a controlled, repeatable way, making it practical for hunters who alternate between day and night setups on the same rifle.
• One-Piece Construction: A one-piece mount body keeps the assembly simple and rigid, reducing the number of separate parts and giving the NV device a stable platform in field use.
• Mauser M96 Compatibility: This version is matched to the Mauser M96 platform when used with compatible pivot bases, so the mount follows the rifle-specific geometry needed for proper installation.
• Croatian Metalworking Manufacture: Made by Rusan in Croatia, the mount comes from a specialist in firearm mounting hardware, with a design focus on precise fit, dependable engagement, and practical use with hunting optics.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal are built for shooters who want to fit digital night-vision and thermal devices to a rifle with the familiar handling of a traditional pivot system. In Rusan’s catalog, the series covers device-specific mount variants for popular platforms such as Pard, Pulsar, HIKMICRO, ATN, and other night-vision or thermal units, so the interface is matched to the optic rather than adapted loosely.

The series includes both complete pivot mounts with bases and upper parts without bases, which is useful for rifles that already carry compatible lower bases. Rusan also offers versions for different rifle mounting interfaces, including prism-style receivers and rifle-specific fits, showing that the line is designed around practical compatibility rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Across the range, the emphasis is on a repeatable detachable mounting system that suits hunters and night-shooting users who need to remove the device for transport, swap optics, or return to a daytime setup without changing the rifle’s basic mounting arrangement.

About the Rusan Pivot mount without bases for Mauser M96, Pard NV008, one-piece

This Rusan Pivot mount without bases for Mauser M96, Pard NV008, one-piece is a rifle- and device-specific upper mount intended for users who already have compatible pivot bases installed on a Mauser M96. Because it is configured for the Pard NV008 mounting standard, it provides the correct interface for that digital night-vision optic, avoiding the compromises that can come with generic adapters.

The one-piece construction is important in practice because a digital night-vision unit places different handling demands on a mount than a conventional daytime riflescope. A single-piece upper helps keep the setup straightforward and solid, which matters when the rifle is carried in the field, taken on and off the gun, or used in low-light conditions where quick handling counts. The pivot-mount system also suits hunters who want a removable arrangement: the optic can be detached when not needed and reattached using the same mounting pattern, while the lower bases remain on the rifle.

Finished in black, the mount is visually discreet and matches the practical, no-nonsense role of a night-hunting setup. As an upper part supplied without bases, it is especially useful for owners who are building around an existing EAW- or Rusan-pattern pivot-base installation on the rifle and want a dedicated NV008-compatible top section rather than a complete new mount set.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, and the company’s metalworking background goes back to 1983. The business developed from the Rusan family’s workshop tradition, with Željko Rusan opening a gunsmith shop in 1986 before the company moved into scope-mount production in 1993. That progression is relevant here because Rusan’s reputation is closely tied to practical firearm interface components rather than general sporting goods.

Today, the company focuses on scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and related firearm accessories, alongside adapters for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices. Rusan introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009, and its product range reflects a strong specialization in connecting modern optics to specific rifles with precise mechanical fit. That makes the brand particularly well known among users who need dependable mounting solutions for hunting optics and digital sighting equipment.
