Rusan Pivot Mount for Sako 75/85, LM Rail

• Pivot quick-release design: The mount lets the optic be removed and reattached with repeatable positioning, which is useful for rifles that alternate between scoped and open-sight use or between different sighting systems.
• LM rail interface: Built for scopes with an LM rail, this version avoids separate rings and gives a clean, secure connection that suits premium rail-equipped optics.
• Steel construction: A steel body adds the rigidity and wear resistance needed in a recoil-bearing mounting system, helping the mount stay dependable through repeated use in the field.
• Rifle-specific fit for Sako actions: Designed around Sako 75, Sako 85 and related Sako actions, the mount matches the rifle interface properly, which is important for stable alignment and consistent return to zero.
• Complete mount with bases: As a complete pivot-mount set, it provides the core mounting components needed for installation on the rifle, simplifying setup for a compatible LM-rail scope.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts are built as a dedicated family of rifle scope mounts for hunters and shooters who want the practicality of a quick-release pivot system without moving to a one-size-fits-all design. Within the Rusan lineup, this series covers a wide range of rifle interfaces, including versions for 11 mm prisms, Picatinny rails, and numerous rifle-specific receiver patterns. That broad fitment is one of the defining traits of the series: the mounting concept stays consistent, while the base geometry is tailored to the rifle.

The series also accommodates different optic connection standards. Rusan offers complete pivot mounts with rings for 26 (25.4), 30, 34, 36, and 40 mm scope tubes, alongside rail-based variants and upper assemblies for users who already have matching bases. Across the range, the emphasis is on steel construction and a quick-release fixation that supports repeatable removal and reinstallation. In practical use, that makes the series well suited to traditional hunting rifles, mixed-use sporting setups, and rifles that may carry different optics depending on season, terrain, or shooting distance.

About the Rusan Pivot Mount for Sako 75/85, LM Rail

The Rusan Pivot Mount for Sako 75/85, LM Rail is a rifle-specific mounting solution for shooters using a Sako 75 or Sako 85 platform with an optic built around the LM rail standard. Instead of using conventional rings, this version interfaces directly with the rail on the scope, which creates a tidy, mechanically straightforward setup and is especially suitable for premium European optics supplied with an integral rail.

Its main advantage is the combination of a pivot mounting system and a complete mount with bases. That layout is useful when the rifle needs to switch between optic-equipped and stripped configurations, or when the optic must be removed for transport, maintenance, or storage. A pivot design is valued because it allows fast handling while still aiming for consistent repositioning when the sight is mounted again.

Steel construction is particularly important on a mount like this. The material gives the assembly the stiffness and durability expected from a recoil-bearing interface, and it suits rifles that see regular field use in rough weather or repeated mounting cycles over time. Because this model is made specifically for the Sako action family listed in its compatibility range, it is intended to match the rifle correctly rather than relying on a universal compromise. For hunting optics setups built around a rail-mounted scope, that rifle-specific approach is the real strength of this mount.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, and the company’s roots in metalworking go back to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993, which established the product area it is still closely associated with today. Rusan focuses on practical firearm-interface components such as scope mounts, scope rings, and Picatinny rails, alongside firearm tuning products.

The company is also well known for accessories that connect modern electro-optics to sporting rifles. Its range includes adapter clamps for clip-on sights and adapters for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices, with the clip-on sight adapter clamp introduced in 2009. That background is relevant here because it shows a long-standing specialization in the mechanical side of optics mounting: precise fit, repeatable attachment, and compatibility across many rifle and optic platforms.
