ABOUT THE RECKNAGEL WEAVER FRONT BASE FOR STEYR-MANNLICHER M / S

The Recknagel Weaver Front Base for Steyr-Mannlicher M / S stands out as a highly reliable and precisely engineered mounting solution for your rifle. Unlike universal mounting systems, this base is specifically contoured for the Steyr-Mannlicher M / S, ensuring an optimal and secure fit that enhances both stability and accuracy. Constructed from a single piece of high-quality aluminium, it offers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, preventing flex and maintaining zero even under demanding recoil. This makes it an ideal choice for dedicated hunters who frequently navigate challenging terrains and rely on their equipment to perform flawlessly. While two-piece Weaver bases offer a cost-effective method for attaching optics, their installation requires careful attention to alignment across height, longitudinal, and horizontal axes. Failure to achieve precise alignment can lead to stress on the scope tube, impacting accuracy and potentially damaging the optic. For this reason, professional installation by a skilled gunsmith is highly recommended to ensure proper setup and maximise accuracy, safeguarding your investment in both your rifle and scope.
