Pixfra Chiron C435 LRF

• Integrated 1000 m laser rangefinder: measures distance inside the sight picture, so the shooter can range and engage without breaking position or shifting to a separate device.
• 384x288, 12.00 μm thermal sensor with 20.00 mK NETD: resolves heat differences with good clarity, helping targets stand out more cleanly in rain, mist, brush, and changing background temperatures.
• 35.00 mm F 1.0 objective and 1800.00 m detection range: combines useful reach with a practical field of view, making the scope suitable for scanning, locating, and identifying heat sources across mixed terrain.
• Built-in ballistic software: works with the rangefinder to turn measured distance into more informed hold decisions, which is especially useful when shooting at varying ranges in the field.
• Video and image recording with Wifi connectivity: lets the user save observations, review shots, and transfer footage more easily for documentation, training, or sharing.

About the Pixfra Chiron Series

The Pixfra Chiron series sits in the company’s thermal riflescope range as a line built for hunting and outdoor exploration, with standard Chiron and Chiron LRF variants in the current catalog. Across the family, the design centers on 12 μm vanadium oxide uncooled focal plane detectors, with models available in both 384 × 288 and 640 × 512 sensor resolutions to suit different budgets and detection needs.

A defining trait of the series is its emphasis on practical field handling. Pixfra uses a rotary-knob menu control for quicker operation with gloved hands or in low light, and the Chiron platform also benefits from PIPS image processing, which is intended to keep image latency low for a more natural view when tracking moving animals. Depending on the model, the series combines thermal imaging with features such as recoil-activated recording and, in the LRF versions, an integrated 1000 m laser rangefinder paired with a ballistic calculator. That makes the Chiron family relevant not only for observation after dark, but also for shooters who want a thermal riflescope that brings ranging, aiming, and recording into one compact unit.

About the Pixfra Chiron C435 LRF

The Pixfra Chiron C435 LRF is a thermal riflescope built around a 384x288 VOx uncooled sensor, a 35.00 mm F 1.0 objective, and a fixed 2.95 x optical magnification. This configuration gives it a balanced role in hunting optics: enough base magnification for deliberate shot placement, while still keeping a useful 137.00 m/1000m field of view for scanning field edges, woodland rides, and open ground. With a stated 1800.00 m detection range, it is designed to pick up heat signatures well beyond normal shooting distances, giving the user more time to assess movement and direction before taking a shot.

Its thermal performance is shaped not only by resolution, but also by the 12.00 μm pixel pitch and 20.00 mK NETD. In practice, that means the scope is better able to separate subtle temperature differences, which helps when an animal is partly screened by vegetation or when the background and target temperatures are close. The 1440x1080 OLED display presents that information with a crisp image, while the 50.00 Hz refresh rate supports smoother viewing during panning and target tracking.

What sets this model apart within thermal rifle scopes is the integration of a 1000.00 m laser rangefinder and ballistic software. Distance can be measured directly in the internal display with +/- 1 m accuracy, reducing guesswork when targets appear at unfamiliar ranges. Recording functions for still images and video, plus Wifi connectivity, add useful documentation and review capability. The compact housing, 608.00 g weight, 8.00 h battery life, and operation from -30°C to +55°C make it a practical option for hunters who need one thermal sight to cover observation, ranging, and shot execution in changing conditions.

About Pixfra

Pixfra is the outdoor brand of Zhejiang Pixfra Technology Co., Ltd., based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. The company develops thermal imaging modules, cores, outdoor products, cameras, and related solutions, which places thermal technology at the center of its product strategy rather than as a side category. In the outdoor segment, Pixfra’s range includes thermal monoculars, thermal scopes, thermal front attachments, multispectral binoculars, and digital day-and-night scopes.

The brand positions its products around applications such as hunting, outdoor exploration, and animal observation. Within that lineup, Pixfra has built recognizable families including the Mile, Arc, and Chiron series. Its product development also highlights proprietary processing such as PIPS 2.0 in the Mile 2 series, reflecting a focus on image handling and user-facing thermal performance. For buyers considering thermal imaging equipment, Pixfra is best understood as a specialist brand concentrated on field-use electro-optics rather than general sporting optics.
