Leupold RM Rings, Ruger M77, 30 mm

• Ruger M77-specific fit: This ringmount is made for the Ruger M77 SA and LA action pattern, giving a direct, model-specific mounting solution for a 30 mm riflescope without mixing separate bases and rings.
• Solid steel construction: The steel body adds rigidity at the point where the optic meets the rifle, helping the scope stay aligned under recoil and hard field use.
• One-piece ringmount design: The RM format combines the mounting interface and rings in one unit, which simplifies installation and reduces the number of separate parts in the system.
• 30 mm scope compatibility: Built for 30 mm maintubes, these rings suit many modern hunting optics and tactical optics that use a larger tube for greater adjustment range and robust internals.
• Made in the USA: Domestic manufacture supports consistent machining and finish quality, which matters when precise ring alignment and repeatable scope retention are the job.

About the Leupold RM Rings Series

Leupold RM Rings are built as a rifle-specific ringmount system for shooters who want a straightforward, durable way to mount an optic. In this series, the ring and mounting interface are combined into a single unit, which keeps the setup simple and avoids the extra parts involved with separate bases and rings. The design is aimed at practical field use, where a secure mechanical connection matters as much as the optic itself.

Machined from solid steel, the RM series focuses on strength, consistent tolerances, and long service life. The family includes versions for 1-inch and 30 mm riflescope maintubes, along with multiple ring heights to suit different objective sizes and rifle configurations. Leupold has also offered the series in several finishes, making it easier to match the rifle and scope. Within the company’s mounting lineup, RM rings serve shooters who prefer a traditional fixed mount with rifle-specific fit rather than a more modular rail-based system.

About the Leupold RM Rings, Ruger M77, 30 mm

The Leupold RM Rings, Ruger M77, 30 mm are a fixed steel ringmount set made for shooters using a Ruger M77 rifle with a 30 mm riflescope. The key advantage of this model is its dedicated fit for both Ruger M77 SA and LA actions. That model-specific geometry helps create a clean, direct interface between rifle and optic, which is especially useful on hunting rifles where reliability and a tidy overall profile matter.

The 30 mm ring diameter makes this mount a practical match for many modern riflescopes used for hunting and general-purpose shooting. A 30 mm tube often appears on optics with broader internal adjustment travel and sturdier internal assemblies, so using the correct ring size is essential for proper support. Because this RM mount is made from steel, it prioritizes rigidity and secure clamping over minimum weight, which is a sensible trade-off for rifles that may see recoil, transport, and repeated field handling.

The RM layout also keeps the mounting system simple. Instead of combining separate bases and rings, this design integrates the mounting function into the ring assembly itself. In practice, that means fewer separate components to manage and a traditional fixed-mount setup that suits shooters who value a solid, no-nonsense scope installation on the Ruger M77 platform.

About Leupold

Leupold & Volpel was founded in Portland, Oregon, in 1907 by Fred Leupold and Adam Volpel. The company later introduced its first riflescope, the Plainsman in 1947, establishing the product category that still defines much of its reputation. Leupold also introduced the Duplex reticle in 1962, a design that became widely recognized in sporting optics.

Today, Leupold & Stevens, Inc. is headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon and remains family-owned. Its core expertise is sport optics for hunting, shooting, and outdoor use, with product lines that include riflescopes, red dot sights, binoculars, spotting scopes, rangefinders, and thermal optics. That long focus on riflescopes and mounting systems is directly relevant here: the company designs mounts like the RM series to provide the same practical durability and fit expected from its optics.
