The Leica Noctivid Compact series was developed to bring Leica’s premium optical performance into an exceptionally portable format. Combining compact dimensions, elegant design, and advanced optical engineering, the series is intended for users who demand uncompromising image quality without carrying full-size binoculars.

Unlike many compact binoculars that prioritize portability over viewing comfort, the Noctivid Compact models are engineered to provide a spacious image, excellent ergonomics, and premium observation performance in a pocket-sized design.

ABOUT THE MODEL (LEICA NOCTIVID 8x25)

The Leica Noctivid 8x25 offers an excellent balance between magnification, portability, and image stability. The 8x magnification provides a steady image during prolonged observation, while the 25 mm objective lenses deliver impressive brightness for such a compact binocular.

With a field of view of 120 m at 1000 m (6.9°), the binocular provides excellent situational awareness and allows users to quickly locate and track subjects. The close focusing distance of only 2.0 meters also makes it suitable for observing nearby wildlife, insects, and fine natural details.

The optical system incorporates Leica’s HighLux-System (HLS®), SCHOTT HT™ glass, HDC® coatings, and P40 phase-correction coatings, resulting in a bright image with high contrast, excellent color accuracy, and impressive detail resolution.

The compact double-hinge construction folds into an extremely portable format that easily fits into a jacket pocket or small travel bag. Despite its lightweight dimensions, the housing remains durable, weather-resistant, and comfortable to use during extended observation sessions.
