Kozap Slip-On Base, Brno Effect

• Rifle-specific fit: This slip-on base is made for the Brno Effect pattern and related actions, giving a secure starting point for a scope mount without improvised adapters.
• Ø 8 mm interface compatibility: It works with the Kozap Ø 8 mm Interface, so it can serve as the correct lower component in a modular mounting setup.
• Base-only configuration: As a dedicated base, it lets the mount be completed with separately selected upper parts, which is useful when ring height or scope size must match a specific rifle and optic.
• One-piece slip-on design: The single-base format keeps the installation straightforward and provides a stable platform for hunting optics on compatible Brno firearms.
• Czech-made steel mount component: Built in the Czech Republic, this Kozap base follows the company’s long focus on practical scope-mount solutions for traditional European hunting rifles and combination guns.

About the Kozap Bases Series

Kozap Bases is the rifle-specific base line within KOZAP’s scope-mount catalog, built around the idea that the lower part of the mount should match the firearm correctly before the upper part is chosen. In this series, dedicated bases are offered for particular rifles and actions rather than as generic rails, which helps preserve proper fit and alignment on hunting firearms. KOZAP also describes some of these products as bases that are completed with separately selected rings or upper components, giving the user more freedom to match the final setup to the optic.

Within the wider KOZAP range, the series sits alongside CLASSIC and ALFA mounting concepts, with options in both one-piece and two-piece layouts depending on the firearm. The catalog includes base solutions for models such as the CZ 512, CZ 527, Brno 802, Brno Effect, and Brno ZKM 611, showing the series’ focus on established Central European sporting rifles. In practical terms, Kozap Bases are intended for shooters who need a firearm-specific mounting foundation that can then be completed to suit the chosen riflescope.

About the Kozap Slip-On Base, Brno Effect

The Kozap Slip-On Base, Brno Effect is a dedicated mounting base for shooters using a Brno Effect and related compatible firearms. Its role is simple but important: it provides the correct lower mounting element for the rifle, so the optic setup starts with a part shaped for the firearm rather than with a universal compromise. That matters on hunting rifles and combination guns where fit, alignment, and repeatable positioning are more important than unnecessary complexity.

This model is designed around the Kozap Ø 8 mm Interface, which makes it suitable as part of a modular mount arrangement. In practice, that means the base can be paired with the appropriate upper components to suit the riflescope being installed. The result is a more adaptable setup than a fixed all-in-one solution, especially when scope tube size, bell diameter, or preferred mounting height differ from one optic to another.

The slip-on, one-piece base format also suits users who want a straightforward mounting foundation for traditional sporting firearms. Finished in black and made in the Czech Republic, it reflects KOZAP’s practical approach to hunting optics mounting: firearm-specific compatibility, simple mechanical design, and a layout intended to support a stable scope installation on the correct Brno platform.
