Hikmicro Stellar SX60L 3.0

• 1280x1024 thermal sensor: The high-resolution 12.00 μm VOx sensor gives this scope a dense thermal image, helping separate animals, background detail and terrain features more clearly at longer distances.
• 60 mm F1.0 objective: A large, fast lens gathers more thermal energy, which improves image brightness and detail recognition in difficult weather and supports the scope’s 3100.00 m detection range.
• Built-in 1000.00 m laser rangefinder: Integrated ranging with +/- 1 m accuracy reduces guesswork in the field and works with ballistic software for more confident hold decisions.
• 2560x2560 OLED display: The large, high-resolution OLED screen presents the thermal image with a more refined view, making scanning, target identification and reticle placement easier during extended observation.
• Traditional 30 mm riflescope format: The STELLAR design fits standard 30 mm rings and keeps familiar handling, which suits hunters who want thermal capability without changing to a bulky specialist layout.

About the Hikmicro Stellar Series

Hikmicro Stellar is a thermal riflescope family built around a traditional riflescope-style design, giving hunters a familiar form factor while adding the advantages of thermal imaging. The series was developed for hunting use, especially where fast target acquisition, clear heat detection and straightforward mounting matter more than adapting to an unconventional housing. A key characteristic of the line is its use of standard 30 mm mounting rings, which makes it easier to integrate on rifles already set up for conventional optics.

Across the series, STELLAR models use uncooled focal-plane-array thermal sensors and offer a flexible aiming system with 5 reticle groups, 4 reticle colors and 10 reticle types. Multiple reticle and zeroing profiles make the platform practical for shooters who move between different loads or rifles. The series also supports onboard video recording and snapshot capture, so it serves not only as a hunting optic but also as a useful tool for reviewing shot placement and field observations. In Hikmicro’s lineup, STELLAR sits as the company’s dedicated thermal scope range for users who want classic scope ergonomics with modern thermal functionality.

About the Hikmicro Stellar SX60L 3.0

Hikmicro Stellar SX60L 3.0 is a thermal LRF riflescope designed for hunters who need long detection capability and a highly detailed image from a conventional scope-shaped platform. Its combination of 2.50 x to 28.50 x magnification and a 60.00 mm F 1.0 lens makes it especially well suited to open ground, field edges and other situations where spotting heat signatures early is important. With a stated 3100.00 m detection range, it is built to pick up distant heat sources while still giving enough magnification range for closer inspection and precise shot placement.

The thermal core is the defining feature here: a 1280x1024 VOx uncooled sensor with 12.00 μm pixel pitch and 18.00 mK NETD is aimed at showing finer temperature differences and more scene detail. In practice, that helps the scope present animals more distinctly against cluttered backgrounds and maintain a useful image when conditions are damp, cold or otherwise challenging. The 2560x2560 OLED display supports that sensor with a large, sharp viewing image, while the 45.00 mm eye relief keeps the scope comfortable on centerfire rifles.

The built-in 1000.00 m laser rangefinder and ballistic software add practical shooting value beyond simple observation. They help the shooter confirm distance rather than estimate it, which is especially useful when thermal images flatten visual depth cues. With 10 reticles, onboard image capture and video recording, WiFi connectivity, waterproof and fogproof construction, and up to 9.00 h battery life from an 18650 power system, the SX60L 3.0 is configured as a field-ready thermal hunting optic rather than just a spot-and-observe device.

About Hikmicro

Hikmicro was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Hangzhou, China. The company focuses on thermal imaging, while also working with visible-light imaging, ultrasonic technology, electromagnetic technology and radar. In the outdoor optics segment, Hikmicro has built a broad catalog that includes thermal monoculars, thermal scopes, thermal clip-ons, digital day-and-night scopes and multispectrum binoculars.

Its product families are organized by use case, with STELLAR and THUNDER covering thermal scope applications, ALPEX serving digital day-and-night shooting optics, and lines such as LYNX, FALCON, CONDOR and HABROK addressing handheld and multispectrum observation. Hikmicro’s outdoor development has included 12 μm thermal detectors, which were documented in its 2023 outdoor brochure as part of the company’s thermal product evolution. That background is directly relevant to the STELLAR SX60L 3.0, which reflects Hikmicro’s emphasis on compact thermal sensor technology and dedicated hunting optics.
