I have a Burris Fastfire 3 that pins nicely but has screws that are oversized for the threads in the plate. Can I get the thread size and pitch on these screws? And maybe length and head type for some smart individual. THX. Cole

From the information we have, the Henneberger mount uses an M3 thread for attaching the red dot sight.

For the Burris FastFire 3, M3 x 0.5 screws with a length of approximately 8 mm and a countersunk/flat head are required. The standard 6 mm screws used with Docter/Noblex sights are too short for the FastFire 3.

Please note that the screw length should always be checked before final installation to make sure the screws engage sufficiently without bottoming out in the mount.

No, a Holosun red dot sight does not fit directly onto this mounting plate as standard. The Henneberger HMS mount for the Walther P99 is designed for the Docter/Noblex mounting standard.

If you wish to use a Holosun, this might be possible with an additional adapter plate, depending on the model. However, this would increase the height of the red dot sight.

Hi, I received the mounting plate for the Walther P99 and in the description it says “ Mounting screws for attaching the red dot sight”. There were no mounting screws in the bag. (It’s the Hennegeberger Plate). There were also no instructions included. Can you please assist? Has anyone done this install? As I try to push it into the slide it looks like it’s a real tight fit and I am worried about damaging the rear slide. Does this damage the rear cuts in the slide?

The mount should be installed by first removing the rear sight from the firearm. Once removed, the screw on the plate that holds the base in place should be unscrewed. The base can then be inserted into the empty space where the rear sight was previously located. To complete the installation, the base should be secured by tightening the screw.

Received the mount today and mounted it to my P99 (early built series). Fit was tight but I think it has do be hard to install so it stays at place. Docter sight II also fits in with no problem. Will test now everything and rewrite if the mount moves or not but makes until now a solid impression but the price is a bit high in my opinion. A bit less than 100euros will be a much better and attractive price.
