Hawke Endurance 30 WA SF 6-24x50 Product description

  • Exposed Locking Resettable Turrets with Side Focus Parallax: The exposed, locking, resettable elevation and windage turrets give the shooter direct access to adjustments in the field, with each turret offering 75 MOA of total travel in ¼ MOA click increments. The side-mounted parallax knob covers 14 metres to infinity, enabling precise parallax correction at a wide range of target distances without breaking the firing position — increasingly important at higher magnification settings where even small parallax errors are clearly visible.
  • LR Dot Reticle Calibrated at 16×: The LR Dot is a second focal plane reticle with holdover aim points calibrated at 16×, the designated reference magnification for this model. At this power, all subtension values correspond directly to the stated distances, enabling reliable holdovers at known ranges. The higher reference magnification compared to lower-powered Endurance 30 WA models reflects the scope's precision-oriented application — at 16×, the reticle provides fine enough resolution for accurate holdover reference at typical long-range hunting and varminting distances.
  • Multi-LED High Intensity Illuminated Reticle: The reticle centre is illuminated via multi-LED high intensity technology with 6 red brightness levels and off positions between each step, controlled via a stepped rheostat. This allows the shooter to select an appropriate brightness for the current ambient light conditions without overshooting to a level that would wash out the reticle against a bright or uniform background.
  • H5 Optical System with 18-Layer Fully Multi-Coated Lenses: High-grade, low-dispersion crown glass combined with 18-layer fully multi-coated lenses delivers high light transmission and a bright, high-contrast image across the full magnification range. At higher magnification settings, well-corrected lenses are particularly important for maintaining image clarity and colour fidelity, as any optical aberration or contrast loss becomes increasingly apparent as the image is enlarged.
  • 24× Maximum Magnification for Precision Hunting and Varminting: The 6–24× magnification range provides a 4× zoom ratio covering from a moderate 6× minimum — with a field of view of 6.9 metres at 100 metres for initial target identification — through to 24× at the upper end, which provides the image scale needed for precise shot placement at extended hunting distances and for varminting applications where resolving fine target detail at range is essential.
  • Ultra-Wide 24° Field of View: The H5 optical system delivers the series-characteristic ultra-wide 24° field of view at minimum magnification, providing a broader sight picture than many competing designs in the 6–24× class. At 6×, the 6.9-metre field of view at 100 metres supports target acquisition and situational awareness before increasing magnification for the shot.
  • High Volume Eyebox with 102mm Eye Relief: The high-volume eyebox reduces the precision required for consistent head placement when acquiring a sight picture — an advantage at high magnification settings where a small eyebox would demand very precise eye positioning. The 102mm of eye relief provides comfortable clearance across a wide range of rifle platforms and shooting positions.
  • Sealed and Nitrogen Purged Construction: The 30mm aluminium mono-tube is fully sealed and nitrogen purged, providing waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof performance rated for all calibres — ensuring consistent optical performance in rain, mist, and across rapid temperature changes between environments.

About the Endurance 30 WA Series

The Hawke Endurance 30 WA series is a range of hunting riflescopes built on the H5 optical system within a 30mm aluminium mono-tube chassis, designed for hunters who require a versatile, reliable optic across a range of disciplines and distances. The series sits within Hawke's mid-tier Endurance product family, distinguished from the Endurance 30 FD series by its use of multi-LED high intensity illumination with a stepped rheostat control rather than digital fibre optic illumination.

All Endurance 30 WA models feature high-grade, low-dispersion crown glass with 18-layer fully multi-coated lenses, a high-volume eyebox, and 102mm of eye relief. A defining optical characteristic across the series is the ultra-wide 24° field of view at minimum magnification, which provides a broader sight picture than is typical for scopes in the same magnification classes. All models use second focal plane reticles with holdover aim points calibrated at a specific reference magnification, suited to hunting applications where the zero is established at the range and maintained through the field season.

The Endurance 30 WA lineup includes four configurations: the 1.5-6x44 (L4A Dot) for close-range and driven hunting, the 2.5-10x50 (LR Dot) as a general-purpose hunting model, the 3-12x56 (LR Dot) for hunters prioritising low-light performance and a larger objective, and the 4-16x50 SF and 6-24x50 SF (both LR Dot) for applications requiring higher magnification, side focus parallax adjustment, and exposed turrets.

About the Model (Hawke Endurance 30 WA SF 6-24x50 LR Dot)

The Hawke Endurance 30 WA SF 6-24x50 is the highest-magnification model in the Endurance 30 WA lineup, designed for hunters and shooters who need extended-range capability — particularly for varminting, open-country hunting, and any application where resolving fine target detail at distance is a priority. The 6–24× magnification range provides a 4× zoom ratio starting from a moderate 6×, which gives a field of view of 6.9 metres at 100 metres for initial target identification, while the 24× upper end delivers the image scale needed for precise shot placement at the longer distances typical of varminting and open-country hunting.

The 50mm objective lens, combined with the H5 optical system and 18-layer fully multi-coated lenses, delivers high light transmission and a bright, high-contrast image across the magnification range. An exit pupil of 8.3 mm at 6× provides adequate image brightness at minimum magnification during low-light field conditions, while the high-volume eyebox and 102mm of eye relief allow comfortable, consistent use across different shooting positions and head placements.

The LR Dot reticle is a second focal plane design with holdover aim points calibrated at 16× — the designated reference magnification for this model. At this power, all subtension values correspond directly to the stated distances, enabling reliable holdover shooting at known ranges. The reticle centre is illuminated via multi-LED high intensity technology with 6 red brightness levels and off positions between each step, controlled via a stepped rheostat.

The exposed elevation and windage turrets are locking and resettable, each offering 75 MOA of total adjustment travel in ¼ MOA click increments. Side-mounted parallax adjustment covers 14 metres to infinity, allowing precise parallax correction across a wide range of target distances without breaking the firing position. The fast-focus eyebell allows rapid dioptre adjustment. The mono-tube is nitrogen purged and fully sealed, providing waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof performance rated for all calibres. Overall length is 369 mm and weight is 644 g.

About Hawke

Hawke Optics is a British optics brand registered in England and Wales, with products distributed across Europe, North America, and international markets. The company produces a broad range of optical products including riflescopes, airgun scopes, binoculars, spotting scopes, red dot sights, and laser rangefinders, covering applications from hunting and precision shooting to nature observation and marine use.

Hawke organises its riflescope lineup into distinct optical system tiers — from the entry-level H2 through H5 to the flagship H7 — with each tier reflecting the glass specification, coating technology, and mechanical feature level of the products within it. The Endurance series is built on the H5 system, representing the mid-tier of Hawke's product range and covering riflescopes, binoculars, spotting scopes, red dot sights, and laser rangefinders across a wide range of outdoor applications.
