Paired with the 35 mm lens, the higher-resolution detector produces a 12.5° × 9.4° field of view (22×17 m at 100 m) — noticeably wider than the 50 mm-lens TD650LS — along with a 2.03x–16.24x magnification range. This combination suits scanning wider areas at close to medium range, such as open fields, hedgerows, or tree lines, with the rangefinder adding the ability to confirm exact distance to a spotted target. Detection range is rated at 1800 m / 1950 yd, with manual focus for precise adjustment at different distances.
