ERA-TAC picatinny side base

• Side-Mounted Picatinny Interface: The offset design places a compact accessory rail to the side of the optic, making it easier to add a laser or flashlight without taking up valuable top-side space.
• 35 mm Rail Length: The short rail section gives enough room for compact tactical accessories while keeping the setup trim and avoiding unnecessary bulk on the rifle.
• Lightweight Aluminium Construction: The aluminium body keeps added weight low, which helps preserve rifle balance and reduces front-end heaviness on field or duty setups.
• Built for the ERATAC UNIVERSAL-Interface: This adapter is made to integrate with the ERATAC mounting system, giving a clean and secure way to expand a riflescope mount with accessory capability.
• Made in Germany: German manufacture supports the precise fit and consistent machining expected from a mounting accessory that must hold alignment under regular use.

About the ERA-TAC Accesories Series

The ERA-TAC Accesories series is built around expanding the function of tactical mounts without making the rifle unnecessarily large or complicated. Introduced under the ERATAC brand in 2010 for the civilian market and law enforcement, this accessory family focuses on practical add-ons for the brand’s mounting platforms. A key part of the range is the UNIVERSAL-Interface system, which allows users to attach different accessory bases according to the role of the rifle.

Within the series, ERATAC offers centric and side-mounted adapters, Picatinny interface options in different lengths and heights, and related components such as spacers and angle indicators. That makes the line suitable for rifles configured for hunting optics, tactical optics, or specialist applications where illumination tools or aiming accessories need to be mounted close to the primary sight. The design philosophy is straightforward: keep the mounting solution compact, mechanically secure, and easy to adapt. In practice, that gives the user a modular platform that can be tailored to the rifle’s purpose without replacing the main mount.

About the ERA-TAC picatinny side base

The ERA-TAC picatinny side base is a compact accessory adapter designed for riflescope setups that use the ERATAC UNIVERSAL-Interface. Its purpose is simple but useful: it adds a short 35 mm Picatinny rail section in an offset position, creating space for accessories such as a flashlight or laser while leaving the main optical sight unobstructed. This side-mounted layout is especially practical on rifles where top rail space is already occupied by the primary optic.

The side version is a sensible choice when a shooter wants to keep the rifle streamlined but still needs accessory capability close to the sight line. By moving the accessory position off to the side, the adapter helps maintain access to the riflescope and avoids stacking extra components above it. The aluminium construction keeps the part light enough that it does not noticeably upset the handling of the rifle, which matters on carbines and precision rifles alike.

Because it is part of the ERATAC system, this base suits users who want a modular mounting arrangement rather than a fixed one-purpose setup. It works well for tactical rifles, specialist observation setups, and other builds where compact accessory placement matters. The result is a neat interface component that adds flexibility without adding much weight or complexity.
