  • Programmable Digital Reticle: The configurable reticle system includes Live BDC functionality and displays information such as distance, inclination, elevation, windage, and predicted point of impact.
  • Built-In Environmental Sensors: An inclinometer, barometer, thermometer, and hygrometer provide relevant environmental measurements for ballistic calculations, while Bluetooth connectivity enables integration with compatible external devices.
  • ED Optics and Adjustable Mounting: The 50 mm objective lens and extra-low dispersion glass provide a clear optical image, while the included tilt-adjustable Unimount offers additional flexibility for mounting and elevation adjustment.

ABOUT THE ELEMENT OPTICS HYPR SERIES

The Element Optics HYPR series represents the manufacturer's approach to combining conventional optical performance with electronic aiming technology. HYPR stands for Hybrid Precision Riflescope, reflecting the integration of a traditional optical viewing system with digital reticle functions and ballistic calculations.

Unlike fully digital riflescopes that use an electronic camera sensor to generate the entire image, the HYPR concept maintains a direct optical viewing system. The shooter observes the target through conventional optical components while a digital display provides additional aiming information. This arrangement combines the image characteristics of traditional optics with the flexibility of electronic reticle systems.

The HYPR platform incorporates ballistic calculation technology designed to reduce the amount of manual correction required when shooting at different distances. By processing ballistic information and environmental measurements, the system can provide relevant aiming references directly within the sight picture.

Another important characteristic is its integration with the Element Ballistics App. This allows users to configure ballistic profiles and adjust supported digital functions through a compatible mobile device.

The HYPR concept also emphasizes connectivity. Bluetooth communication allows the optic to exchange information with compatible external devices, providing additional possibilities for range and ballistic data integration.

Combined with robust construction, dedicated mounting hardware, and a configurable digital interface, the HYPR platform is intended for shooters who want traditional optical image quality together with advanced electronic aiming assistance.

ABOUT THE ELEMENT OPTICS HYPR-7 7X50

The Element Optics HYPR-7 7x50 is a hybrid precision riflescope that combines a fixed-magnification prismatic optical system with a programmable digital reticle and integrated ballistic calculator. Designed for shooters who require detailed aiming information without abandoning conventional optical image quality, the HYPR-7 offers a distinctive combination of mechanical optics and electronic functionality.

The riflescope incorporates a fixed 7x magnification and a 50 mm objective lens. Its prismatic optical system uses extra-low dispersion (ED) glass to reduce chromatic aberration and maintain image clarity. Unlike fully digital viewing systems, the optical image is observed directly rather than being generated entirely by an electronic display. This provides the familiar appearance of traditional optics while allowing digital information to be presented within the sight picture.

The HYPR-7 provides a field of view of 8.8 metres at 100 metres, allowing the shooter to observe the target and a useful portion of the surrounding environment. The 7 mm exit pupil supports a comfortable viewing experience, while the 45 mm eye relief must be considered when selecting a suitable firearm and mounting position.

One of the most important features is the programmable digital reticle system. Instead of relying exclusively on a permanently defined optical reticle, the HYPR-7 allows users to configure digital aiming references according to their shooting requirements. The display can present information such as target distance, inclination, elevation and windage corrections, and predicted point of impact.

The system also incorporates Live BDC functionality, which uses ballistic information to provide an aiming reference corresponding to the calculated projectile trajectory. This allows the digital reticle to adapt to the selected ballistic profile and entered shooting conditions, helping the user interpret the required aiming correction.

At the centre of the HYPR-7's electronic system is an integrated ballistic processor. The riflescope can store up to four ballistic profiles, allowing users to configure different ammunition or shooting setups. These profiles can be selected as required without having to recreate the ballistic information for every change of configuration.

The riflescope incorporates several environmental sensors, including an inclinometer, barometer, thermometer, and hygrometer. These components measure inclination, atmospheric pressure, temperature, and humidity, providing information that can be used by the ballistic calculation system. The integrated inclinometer is particularly useful when shooting at elevated or depressed angles, where the effective horizontal distance differs from the direct line-of-sight distance.

The HYPR-7 can be configured using the Element Ballistics App, which provides access to supported ballistic profiles and system settings. This allows users to manage important aspects of the electronic aiming system through a compatible smartphone rather than relying entirely on the optic's physical controls.

Another important capability is Bluetooth connectivity, which allows communication with compatible external devices. This provides opportunities to integrate external ranging or environmental information into the shooting system, depending on device compatibility and configuration.

The digital display provides information directly within the optical viewing area, allowing the shooter to review relevant ballistic and aiming data without constantly referring to a separate device. The combination of optical and digital elements is intended to maintain a clear target image while providing additional information when required.

The riflescope features a side parallax adjustment with a minimum adjustment distance of approximately 6 metres and an upper limit of infinity. This allows the user to optimize focus and reduce parallax error when observing targets at different distances. The short minimum adjustment distance also makes the optical system suitable for shooting disciplines involving relatively close targets.

The HYPR-7 provides a digital elevation adjustment range of 81 MOA (23.5 MRAD). In addition, the included adjustable mounting system provides a mechanical elevation adjustment range of 160 MOA (46 MRAD). These two adjustment systems serve different functions: digital adjustments change the aiming reference within the display, while the mounting system provides mechanical inclination adjustment.

The included tilt-adjustable Unimount allows the optic to be positioned and mechanically adjusted for compatible shooting configurations. An accessory rail is also supplied, providing an attachment point for compatible supplementary equipment.

The riflescope is equipped with a magnetic flip-up lens cap incorporating a neutral density (ND) filter. This accessory helps protect the optical system and provides an additional means of controlling the amount of light entering the objective lens when required.

The HYPR-7 features waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction. Its nitrogen-purged housing helps reduce internal condensation during temperature changes, supporting dependable operation in different outdoor environments.

Measuring 173 mm in length and weighing 518 grams with the battery installed, the HYPR-7 combines a 50 mm objective lens, fixed 7x optical system, and integrated electronic technology in a relatively compact housing.

With its combination of ED glass, programmable digital reticles, integrated environmental sensors, Bluetooth connectivity, and onboard ballistic calculation, the Element Optics HYPR-7 7x50 provides a specialized aiming system for shooters who want to combine traditional optical performance with configurable digital assistance.
