Dörr Feeder Compact without Container

• Programmable feeding control: The timer can be set from 1 to 30 seconds, making it easier to match feed output to the location, season and target species instead of relying on a fixed spread cycle.
• Compact feeder unit: With a weight of 450 g, this feeder is easy to mount on a suitable container or barrel and practical to transport when setting up feeding points in different areas.
• Consistent feed distribution: A spread rate of 125 g per second helps deliver repeatable portions, which is useful for maintaining regular baiting or feeding routines.
• Battery-powered operation: The feeder runs on 4x Mignon AA LR6 batteries, so it can be installed where mains power is unavailable and used in remote hunting or fish-feeding locations.
• Container-free configuration: This version is supplied without a container, giving more flexibility for users who already have a suitable hopper or want to build a feeder system around an existing barrel.

About the Compact Series

The DÖRR Compact series is built as a practical automatic feeding system for users who need a straightforward solution for game feeding, baiting and fish feeding. Within DÖRR’s hunting and outdoor range, the Compact models focus on simple installation, dependable timed operation and compatibility with common dry feed types such as maize, grain and pellets. The concept is deliberately modular: the feeder unit can be used in versions with or without a container, which makes the series suitable both for complete ready-to-use setups and for custom installations based on an existing barrel or hopper.

A defining characteristic of the series is its emphasis on uncomplicated field use. The control system allows up to 4 feeding times per day, while battery power supports placement away from fixed infrastructure. The compact housing keeps the unit manageable during transport and mounting, and the design is intended for routine outdoor use where reliability matters more than complexity. For hunters, land managers and fishery users, the Compact series offers a measured, repeatable way to distribute feed with less manual effort and better timing control.

About the Dörr Feeder Compact without Container

The Dörr Feeder Compact without Container is the stripped-back version of the Compact feeder, intended for users who want the working mechanism without being tied to a supplied hopper. That makes it especially useful for adapting an existing barrel, feed bin or site-specific setup where dimensions, mounting height or total capacity need to match local conditions. In practice, this gives more freedom when building a feeding point for hunting grounds, enclosures or fish stocks.

The timer-controlled spread duration of 1 to 30 seconds is the key functional feature of this model. Instead of dispensing a fixed amount, it lets the user regulate feeding intensity according to feed type and desired coverage. Combined with the stated output of 125 g per second, it supports more predictable rationing and helps avoid excessive waste around the feeding area. Because the unit is powered by 4x AA LR6 batteries, it can be installed in places where running power is impractical, which is often the case for remote baiting points.

Its 450 g weight and compact format make handling straightforward during installation and seasonal relocation. This version is also a sensible choice for users who already own a compatible container and only need the feeder mechanism itself. The result is a practical automatic feeder that prioritizes flexibility, controlled output and simple deployment in the field.
