Dillon Black Range Bag

• Cordura outer material: The tough fabric construction stands up well to regular transport, rough benches and repeated loading, helping the bag keep its shape through frequent range use.
• Compact range-ready format: With overall dimensions of 300.00 mm x 200.00 mm x 250.00 mm, this bag is easy to carry while still offering practical space for ammunition, tools and essential shooting accessories.
• Purpose-built range organization: The Dillon design is intended to carry range gear in a more orderly way than a general-purpose duffel, making it easier to separate core items and keep them close at hand on the firing line.
• Black low-profile finish: The plain black exterior gives the bag a clean, professional look that fits naturally with shooting equipment and does not show range grime as quickly as lighter colors.
• Compatible interior volume: The bag is designed to hold the Border Shift Ammo Bag and a Dillon Large Utility Box, which makes it useful for shooters who want one carry bag for ammunition and support gear.

About the Range Bags Series

Dillon Precision range bags are built for shooters who want a practical way to move ammunition, tools and support gear between the bench, the vehicle and the firing line. In the company’s broader lineup, these bags sit alongside reloading equipment and shooting accessories, extending Dillon’s focus from the loading bench to the range itself. The emphasis is not on unnecessary bulk, but on a layout that supports routine use with handguns, carbines and general range equipment.

Within this category, the design philosophy is straightforward: durable materials, useful compartment sizing and a shape that works with the accessories many shooters already carry. Rather than functioning as a generic travel bag, the series is intended for range organization, with room for ammunition containers, small tools, eye and ear protection, and other essentials that need to stay together. That makes these bags especially relevant for regular practice sessions, club shooting and competition preparation, where keeping gear contained and easy to access matters as much as simple carrying comfort.

About the Dillon Black Range Bag

The Dillon Black Range Bag is a compact shooting bag made for transporting the essentials without the bulk of a larger hard case or oversized duffel. Its overall size of 300.00 mm x 200.00 mm x 250.00 mm makes it well suited to day trips to the range, where the goal is to carry ammunition, small tools, magazines and protective equipment in one manageable package. For shooters who prefer a tidy bench setup, that smaller footprint is a practical advantage because the bag is easier to place beside a rest, under a table or in a vehicle without wasting space.

The use of Cordura is one of the model’s defining strengths. This material is widely valued for abrasion resistance and long-term durability, so the bag is better prepared for repeated contact with concrete benches, vehicle floors and packed gear. The black exterior keeps the appearance understated and functional, which suits both casual range use and more formal training environments.

What also sets this model apart is its intended compatibility with other Dillon range accessories. The bag is designed to hold the Border Shift Ammo Bag as well as a Dillon Large Utility Box, giving it a more deliberate role in a complete range setup. That makes it a sensible choice for shooters who already use Dillon support gear and want a dedicated range bag that keeps ammunition and equipment organized in one place.

About Dillon Precision

Dillon Precision Products, Inc. was founded by Mike Dillon in 1977. Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States, the company is best known for equipment for metallic cartridge reloading, especially systems for rifle and pistol ammunition. Its core expertise centers on progressive reloading machines and the accessories that support them, including dies, upgrades, replacement parts and caliber conversion kits.

Among the company’s better-known product families are the RL550, XL750, RL1100, Super 1050 and Square Deal B. That background is relevant here because Dillon’s accessories are shaped by the needs of active shooters who load, transport and use their own ammunition regularly. The result is a product range that reflects practical range use rather than general luggage design.
