About the Hunttech Series

The Hunttech series is the technical, long-range oriented line within Carbonomix's carbon fibre stock range for the Blaser R8 and Blaser R93 rifle systems, positioned alongside the manufacturer's more classically styled Carbon, Hybrid, and Adjustable stock lines. While those models are built primarily around traditional offhand and driven-hunt use, the Hunttech series is designed for hunters and shooters who also engage targets from supported positions, such as off a bipod or in prone, at longer ranges.

This is reflected in the series' straight stock construction, which keeps the shooter's eye in line with the optic regardless of body position, and in a reinforced front laminate that adds stiffness under the loads generated when shooting off a rest. A tool-free adjustable cheek raiser is integrated into every Hunttech model, allowing quick adaptation to different scope heights, and an ergonomic grip with a side thumb shelf supports a stable, repeatable trigger hand position.

Unlike Carbonomix's standard hunting stocks, Hunttech models are built to accept bipod adapters and an optional carbon Arca-Swiss rail, extending their use to supported field shooting and precision hunting applications without sacrificing the low weight that carbon fibre construction provides. As with the rest of the Carbonomix range, all Hunttech stocks are ambidextrous and are supplied without the rifle's trigger and action system, which is transferred from the customer's existing rifle.

About the Model (Hunttech for Blaser R93)

The Hunttech for Blaser R93 is a carbon fibre gunstock built to accept the Blaser R93 Professional action and trigger system. It is aimed at hunters and shooters who want the low weight and stiffness of a carbon stock combined with the configuration options normally associated with tactical or long-range chassis systems, while keeping the stock light enough for use in the field.

The stock ships in a straight configuration with a maximally lifted recoil pad, which helps reduce muzzle flip on firing, and the construction is fully ambidextrous. A textured grip section and integrated side thumb shelf are built into the pistol grip area to support a consistent trigger hand position, and the front section of the stock uses a reinforced laminate layup that provides outstanding resistance to twist and torsion, which is particularly relevant when the rifle is supported on a bipod or fired from prone.

The cheekpiece uses the integrated KalixTeknik CR2 raiser system, adjustable without tools, and is configured at order as either right-handed or left-handed. The stock is finished at a standard length of pull of 37 cm; a custom length of pull of up to 39 cm can be arranged directly with Carbonomix on request.

At the time of ordering, the Hunttech for Blaser R93 can be configured with a 17 mm Standard, 19 mm Semi-weight, or 22 mm Match barrel contour channel, and optionally with a Spartan classic gunsmith bipod adapter, a 3-slot Picatinny rail, or a full carbon Arca-Swiss adapter. A camo paint finish is also available, in a choice of Alpine or Forest patterns, in addition to the standard natural carbon fibre finish. The stock comes fitted with standard sling swivels and weighs approximately 600 g without the action. As with all Carbonomix stocks, it is sold without the Blaser R93 trigger and action system, which the customer transfers from their existing rifle.
