Blackhawk Quick Disconnect Female Adapter

• Quick Disconnect interface: lets one compatible BLACKHAWK holster move between multiple mounting platforms, which saves setup time and makes it easier to adapt the same carry system to different roles.
• Tool-free attachment changes: the adapter system is designed to swap holster positions without tools, making it practical for users who alternate between belt, tactical, or other injection-molded platforms.
• 360-degree adjustment capability: supports rotational positioning so the holster angle can be set to suit draw style, body position, and equipment layout.
• Secure tab-lock connection: two quick-disconnect tabs hold the holster to the platform, giving a positive connection while still allowing deliberate removal when needed.
• Multi-piece kit: includes two female adapters and one male adapter, providing the parts needed to configure more than one platform from the start.

About the Blackhawk Accessories Series

Blackhawk Accessories support the brand’s holster ecosystem by expanding how compatible rigs can be carried, mounted, and adjusted in the field. Within the BLACKHAWK lineup, this series is aimed at users who want to tailor a holster setup to a specific role rather than commit to a single fixed configuration. That makes it relevant for everyday carry, range use, duty applications, and broader tactical gear setups.

A key theme of the series is platform compatibility. BLACKHAWK developed many of these accessories to work with its injection-molded holsters and related mounting solutions, allowing the same core holster to be adapted across different carry positions. The design approach focuses on modularity, straightforward installation, and practical adjustment rather than unnecessary bulk. In use, that means accessories in this family help users refine cant, mounting location, and platform choice to better match movement, draw angle, and equipment placement. For holster owners already using BLACKHAWK systems, the series serves as the link between the holster body and the carry platform, making the overall setup more flexible and easier to configure for changing tasks.

About the Blackhawk Quick Disconnect Female Adapter

The Blackhawk Quick Disconnect Female Adapter is a holster-mounting accessory built for users who want faster transitions between compatible BLACKHAWK platforms. Its main advantage is simple: instead of dedicating one holster to one mounting point, the adapter allows a compatible injection-molded holster to be moved where it is needed. That is useful for anyone running different belt or tactical layouts and wanting to keep the same draw feel across them.

The system is designed around tool-free changes, so the holster can be attached or removed without breaking out tools each time a setup changes. In practical use, that reduces downtime and makes it easier to reconfigure equipment between training, duty, or range sessions. The adapter also supports 360-degree adjustment, which matters because holster angle has a direct effect on draw speed, wrist position, and comfort when seated, standing, or moving with other gear.

BLACKHAWK uses two quick-disconnect tabs to secure the holster to the platform. This gives the connection a deliberate locking action while still allowing removal by lifting the tabs and turning the holster counterclockwise. The included set of two female adapters and one male adapter makes the package especially practical for users who want to prepare multiple platforms in advance and move one holster body between them as needed.

About Blackhawk

BLACKHAWK was founded in 1993 by Mike Noell and built its reputation around holsters and tactical gear. The company’s product range includes holsters, duty and protective gear, apparel, bags, packs, and accessories, with a strong focus on equipment intended for professional, defensive, and field use. In the holster category, BLACKHAWK is especially known for lines such as SERPA, T-Series, Stache, and TecGrip.

Its holster development has emphasized retention, durability, and modular carry options. SERPA became one of the brand’s defining platforms, using a patented Auto-Lock release together with adjustable passive retention. BLACKHAWK further expanded its hard-shell holster expertise when it introduced its injection-molded holster process in 2004. That background is directly relevant to accessories like the Quick Disconnect Female Adapter, which are designed to integrate with the company’s injection-molded holster and platform systems.
