AD T14 Thermal system mount

• Titanium construction: The titanium body keeps the mount light while adding the stiffness and wear resistance expected from a part that supports thermal or night-vision equipment on a rifle.
• Purpose-built thermal system interface: The AD T14 is designed as a dedicated mounting accessory for thermal-system use, helping maintain a stable connection where repeatable alignment matters in low-light shooting setups.
• Picatinny compatibility: Fitment for Picatinny rail platforms makes the mount easy to integrate across a wide range of rifles, chassis systems, and accessory-ready firearms.
• Made in the USA: Domestic manufacture reflects American Defense’s focus on machining quality and consistent tolerances, which is especially important for mounting hardware that must hold position under recoil and field handling.
• Broad platform compatibility: Compatibility with rifles such as the Accuracy International AX and AT series, selected Anschutz models, Beretta platforms, and CZ rifles gives the mount flexibility for users running different host systems.

About the AD Accessories Series

American Defense’s AD Accessories series covers a broad group of firearm support components, including light mounts, bipod mounts, rail components, and other mounting accessories built around practical field use. Within the company’s lineup, this series sits alongside its dedicated optic mounts and serves shooters who need the same attention to fit, attachment security, and mechanical durability in smaller accessory parts as they do in primary scope or red-dot mounts.

The series is aimed at law enforcement, military, competition, hunting, and recreational users, so the design approach favors straightforward installation, dependable retention, and compatibility across multiple firearm platforms. American Defense is especially known for its patented Auto Lock lever system on many of its mount products, with adjustment that can be made without proprietary tools and with fitment intended to accommodate both in-spec and out-of-spec rails. In practical terms, the AD Accessories family is built for users who want mounting hardware that is easy to configure, robust enough for repeated use, and adaptable to real-world rifle setups rather than a single narrow application.

About the AD T14 Thermal system mount

The American Defense AD T14 Thermal system mount is a specialized mounting accessory intended for rifle setups that use thermal-system equipment and require a secure interface on a Picatinny rail. Unlike a generic adapter, this model is built around the needs of sighting and support equipment where mounting stability matters to overall system performance. A solid mount helps the optic or accessory stay properly positioned through recoil, transport, and repeated removal or reinstallation.

Its titanium construction is the defining feature of this model. In practice, titanium offers an appealing balance of reduced weight and high strength, which is useful when a rifle already carries the added mass of thermal devices, clip-ons, or other low-light accessories. Keeping the mount light helps preserve rifle balance, while the material’s rigidity supports a more confidence-inspiring connection between rail and device.

The AD T14 also benefits from American Defense’s mounting-focused design philosophy, which centers on precise machining and dependable fit across serious-use firearm platforms. Because it is compatible with a wide range of rifles and chassis systems, including Accuracy International, Anschutz, Beretta, and CZ platforms, it suits users who run multiple rifles or who want one mounting solution that fits established rail standards. For hunting optics or tactical optics setups that include thermal equipment, this mount fills a simple but important role: it provides the physical foundation that lets the rest of the system work as intended.
