AD ASP-V Rig Mount Sling

• Single-point carry setup: The ASP-V Rig Mount Sling keeps the rifle close to the body while allowing fast shoulder transitions, making it well suited to dynamic carbine handling and sidearm transitions.
• Modular attachment concept: Its design works with modular weapon adapters, so the sling can be integrated into different rifle setups instead of being limited to one fixed mounting style.
• Nylon construction: The nylon build gives the sling the flexibility and abrasion resistance needed for regular field or range use without adding unnecessary bulk.
• Ambidextrous handling: The sling concept is intended to function the same for right- and left-handed shooters, which simplifies setup and supports training or duty use across users.
• Made in the USA: American manufacture and robust stitched construction support consistent fit, dependable retention, and long service life on working rifles.

About the AD Accessories Series

American Defense’s AD Accessories series covers a broad group of firearm support components, including light mounts, bipod mounts, rail components, and other rifle accessories intended for practical use across hunting, recreational shooting, competition, and professional applications. Within the wider American Defense lineup, this family complements the company’s optic mounts and rifle hardware by focusing on the parts that complete a working firearm setup rather than the primary sighting system itself.

A defining trait of the series is its emphasis on adaptability and field-oriented design. Across the catalog, American Defense describes products built for varied users and platforms, with mounting solutions designed to fit both in-spec and out-of-spec rail systems. Many of the company’s mount products are associated with the patented Auto Lock lever system, which can be adjusted without proprietary tools and configured to lock in different directions depending on the application. Even where a product in the accessories range is simpler in form, the same design philosophy carries through: practical installation, durable materials, and compatibility with rifles configured for real use rather than display.

About the AD ASP-V Rig Mount Sling

The American Defense AD ASP-V Rig Mount Sling is a single point sling built for rifle setups where speed, retention, and freedom of movement matter more than the extra stability of a two-point arrangement. On a carbine used for training, close-range hunting tasks, or general tactical handling, this style of sling keeps the rifle accessible at the centerline and makes it easier to transition shoulders or move quickly to a secondary weapon. That makes it especially useful on rifles that need to stay mobile in confined spaces or during repeated position changes.

The sling uses a nylon construction, a practical choice for a carry accessory that needs to flex with movement, resist wear, and remain comfortable without becoming overly bulky. American Defense’s ASP sling design is built around a modular attachment concept, allowing it to work with different weapon platforms through adapter-based mounting solutions. In practice, that gives the user more freedom to tailor the sling to the rifle rather than being locked into one permanent interface.

American Defense also designed the ASP concept to function the same for right- and left-handed shooters, which is important for consistent handling during shoulder transitions and support-side use. The result is a sling that prioritizes weapon retention, fast movement, and simple deployment on rifles set up for active use, while keeping the overall system straightforward and durable.
