Being on the top of the game comes with a price tag. Hensoldt costs 5.989,00€ and Schmidt&Bender costs 4.810,00€, but you can pay an extra 150-740€ depending on what reticle you pick.

Hensoldt ZF VS Schmidt&Bender Body Comparison

There is quite a difference between the two. Even though Hensoldt is shorter by 24mm it is still 172grams heavier.

But Hensoldt`s short design is what makes it the best since it can easily be used with night or thermal vision attachments. Not just that, adjustments of the rifle are easily reachable.

One of the differences is also the 36 mm tube on Hensoldt, which has its advantages. Schmidt&Bender has a standard tube that is 34mm.

Hensoldt ZF VS Schmidt&Bender Optics Comparison

Both scopes have a comparable and very equal magnification range.

The minimum magnification on Schmidt&Bender is slightly better since it has 3 meters bigger field of view.

Even though that the maximal magnification isn`t the same, the minimum field of view on the biggest magnification is the same with both scopes.

Schmid&Bender is on the top of the game in the matter of optics, but despite that Hensoldt is in our opinion slightly better.

Both rifle scopes have really good glasses, but Hensoldt is a bit better, except the field of view is slightly better on Schmidt&Bender. Hansoldt`s sharpness is very good.

When looking at white target the Schmidt&Bender showed some reflection, where Hensoldt on the other hand showed none.

Eye box on Hensoldt might be a tiny bit better than on Schmidt&Bender, both on biggest and smallest magnification, but that is what we think.
