UTG Compact 3-12x44

• 3-12x magnification range: Covers close to mid-range work in one compact riflescope, giving enough low-end view for fast target pickup and enough top-end magnification for more precise shot placement.
• 44 mm objective with multi emerald coated lenses: Helps maintain a bright, clear sight picture with good contrast, which is especially useful when aiming against dark backgrounds or in changing light.
• EZ-Tap illumination with red, green and 36-color modes: Lets the reticle stand out against different targets and lighting conditions, so the aiming point remains easier to read without overpowering the image.
• Zero-locking and resetting target turrets: Supports repeatable adjustments and helps prevent accidental movement after zeroing, which matters when switching distances or transporting the rifle.
• Compact True Strength construction: The short overall length, nitrogen-filled sealed body, and shockproof, fogproof, rainproof build make the scope practical for hard-use hunting optics and tactical optics setups.

About the UTG Accushot Series

UTG Accushot sits in the brand’s mid-range riflescope lineup as a family built around the company’s True Strength platform. Development of that platform began in 2001, and Leapers put its first platform scope into mass production in 2002. In practical terms, the series is designed for shooters who want a durable optic for air rifles and firearms without moving into heavier, bulkier long-range models.

The current Accushot range includes compact and full-size configurations, from a 1-8x model up to 4-16x models, as well as a scout scope with extended eye relief. Across the listed lineup, Leapers uses a 30 mm main tube, a second-focal-plane reticle, and illuminated reticle systems with red, green, and 36-color modes. The series is known for combining practical field features such as parallax adjustment, resettable turrets, and compact mechanical layouts with a design philosophy focused on recoil resistance and consistent return-to-zero behavior. That makes Accushot a good fit for general-purpose target shooting, rimfire use, and versatile hunting rifles where compact size and dependable mechanics matter as much as magnification range.

About the UTG Compact 3-12x44

The UTG Compact 3-12x44 is a variable-power riflescope built for shooters who need useful magnification in a shorter format. Its 3-12x range makes it adaptable across rimfire shooting, general target work, and compact centerfire rifle setups. At the low end, the scope remains manageable for closer targets and faster transitions; at 12x, it offers enough image scale for more deliberate aiming on small targets or at longer distances.

This model uses a 44 mm objective lens and a 30 mm tube, balancing light-gathering ability with a sturdy mechanical platform. The scope uses a second-focal-plane Mil-Dot reticle, which keeps the reticle visually fine at higher magnification and uncluttered at lower power. For practical use, that helps with precise aiming while still giving the shooter holdover and range-estimation references when needed. The EZ-Tap illumination system adds red, green, and 36-color options, making the reticle easier to tune to background and ambient light conditions.

Mechanically, this scope is set up for active adjustment. It has zero-locking and resettable target turrets with 1/4 MOA clicks and 80 MOA total elevation and windage travel, giving enough adjustment range for routine zeroing and distance changes. The left-side adjustable parallax turret works from 10 yds (9.14 m) to infinity, which is especially useful for rimfire and airgun distances where parallax error becomes more noticeable. Its sealed, nitrogen-filled aluminum housing and compact form make it well suited to rifles that benefit from a shorter optic without giving up turret control or magnification flexibility.

About UTG

UTG is the product brand of Leapers, Inc., a company founded in Michigan in 1992. The business began with a compact 4×28 scope as its first product and has since expanded into optics and shooting accessories for hunting and shooting sports. Leapers is headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, United States, and its catalog includes riflescopes, scope rings, mounts, and bipods.

Over time, the company broadened its optics development with milestones such as the launch of the UTG PRO line in 2009, the establishment of a dedicated optics research and manufacturing center in Taiwan in 2018, and the introduction of the INTEGRIX premium optics brand in 2022. In the riflescope category, UTG is particularly associated with practical feature sets, compact formats, and designs intended to handle regular field and range use.
