UTG 4-16x44

• 4-16x magnification range: Covers the space between deliberate target work and longer shots, giving the scope enough low-end view for finding targets and enough top-end magnification for precise hold placement.
• 44 mm objective with adjustable parallax: The larger objective helps maintain a usable sight picture as magnification rises, while parallax adjustment from close distance to infinity supports sharper aiming across varied shooting distances.
• Illuminated Mil-Dot reticle: Red and green illumination improves reticle visibility against different backgrounds, and the Mil-Dot layout adds practical holdover and range-estimation reference points.
• Zero-lockable target turrets: Resettable turrets with 1/4 MOA clicks are suited to shooters who dial corrections, while the locking function helps prevent accidental movement during transport or field use.
• True Strength construction: The sealed, nitrogen-filled aluminum body is built for recoil, weather and temperature changes, helping the scope stay dependable on hunting rifles, range rifles and airguns.

About the UTG Accushot Series

UTG Accushot sits in the brand's established line of variable-power riflescopes for shooters who want practical dialing features, illuminated reticles and a more tactical layout than a basic hunting optic. The series currently includes five catalogued models, covering formats from a compact 1-8x scope up to 4-16x configurations, plus a scout model with extended eye relief for forward-mounted use. Across the family, Leapers builds around a 30 mm main tube and a second-focal-plane reticle, keeping reticle appearance familiar and easy to read through the magnification range.

A defining part of the series is the True Strength platform, paired with coil erector return springs and tested by Leapers on both air rifles and firearms. That design focus makes the Accushot line relevant to shooters who move between rimfire, centerfire and airgun setups and want one optic style with consistent controls. Illumination is another shared theme, with red, green and 36-color modes used across the listed models to adapt reticle visibility to changing light and target backgrounds. In practical terms, the Accushot series combines range-oriented features, durable construction and flexible magnification options in a format aimed at general hunting, target shooting and recreational precision work.

About the UTG 4-16x44

The UTG 4-16x44 is the higher-magnification full-size model in the Accushot family, built for shooters who need more precision at distance without moving to an oversized target scope. Its 4-16x zoom range gives enough low-end magnification for initial target acquisition while providing the top-end detail needed for small aiming points, load development and longer shots. The 44 mm objective lens supports a practical balance between image brightness, mounting height and overall size, making the scope suitable for both range rifles and field rifles.

This model uses a SFP Mil-Dot reticle with EZ-Tap illumination in red, green and 36-color modes. That combination gives the shooter a familiar ranging and holdover pattern, while the illumination system helps the reticle stand out against dark cover, bright sky or mixed backgrounds. The one-click illumination memory function is especially useful when returning to a preferred brightness setting after powering the scope off.

Mechanically, the scope is configured for active adjustment rather than set-and-forget use. Zero-lockable, resettable target turrets with 1/4 MOA clicks allow deliberate correction for elevation and windage, and the left-side parallax control adjusts from 9.14 m to infinity so the image can be tuned for sharper focus and reduced aiming error at different distances. The 30 mm aluminum tube, nitrogen filling and sealed construction support reliable use in wet weather, temperature shifts and repeated recoil, while the included rings and flip-open caps make the scope ready for straightforward installation and protection in transport.

About UTG

UTG is the optics and shooting accessories brand of Leapers, Inc., a company founded in Michigan in 1992 and headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, United States. Leapers develops products for hunting and shooting sports, with a catalog that includes riflescopes, mounts, rings and bipods. The company's first product was a compact 4×28 scope, which helps explain its long-standing focus on practical, accessible optics for sporting use.

Over time, Leapers expanded beyond basic accessories into broader optics development and manufacturing. It introduced the UTG PRO line of U.S.-made products in 2009, established an optics research and manufacturing center in Taiwan in 2018, and added the INTEGRIX premium optics brand in 2022. In the riflescope category, UTG is known for combining functional reticle systems, robust construction and shooter-oriented mounting solutions in products aimed at regular field and range use.
