Smith & Wesson Delta Force PL, Light-Laser-Pen

• 4-in-1 penlight design: combines a 130-lumen white light, a red laser pointer, a writing pen and a defensive strike point in one slim tool, so it covers everyday carry, inspection work and quick task lighting without adding bulk.
• Compact AAA-powered format: runs on 1x AAA battery, making the light easy to keep in service with a common power source while preserving the pen-style shape that fits naturally in a pocket or organizer.
• Twist-select operation: the twist control switches between ON/OFF, laser and flashlight functions with simple handling, which is practical when a side switch would add bulk or snag points.
• Anodized aluminum body: the Delta Force PL uses a durable metal housing with a spring steel clip, giving it better resistance to daily knocks and carry wear than a basic plastic penlight.
• Useful close-range output: a 52 m beam distance and 1.3 hr runtime suit short inspections, map reading, equipment checks and administrative tasks where a compact tactical penlight is more useful than a larger flashlight.

About the Smith & Wesson Accessories Series

The Smith & Wesson Accessories range brings the brand’s firearms-oriented design language into supporting gear for everyday carry, range use and general tactical tasks. Within that broader lineup, the Delta Force family focuses on portable lighting tools built around straightforward handling, durable construction and compact carry formats. Rather than treating illumination as a specialist item only, this series is aimed at users who want a light that can move easily between routine utility work and more demanding field use.

In practical terms, Delta Force products are defined by rugged housings, simple controls and carry-friendly forms such as handheld flashlights, headlamps and pen-style lights. The series emphasizes reliability and portability over unnecessary complexity, which makes it suitable for glovebox kits, duty bags, workshop use and general outdoor equipment. Across the family, the design philosophy is clear: keep the light accessible, keep operation intuitive and use materials that stand up to repeated handling. That approach gives the series a distinct place in the Smith & Wesson accessories catalog for users who need compact tactical lighting with familiar, no-nonsense ergonomics.

About the Smith & Wesson Delta Force PL, Light-Laser-Pen

The Smith & Wesson Delta Force PL stands out by combining four functions in a single pen-sized body: a 130-lumen LED light, a red laser pointer, a writing pen and a defensive point. That combination makes it more versatile than a standard penlight. It can handle quick equipment checks, illuminate locks or bags, point out details during instruction or presentations, and still remain useful as a normal writing instrument. Because it keeps these functions in a slim pocket format, it suits users who want one compact tool instead of carrying separate items.

The light’s twist-select operation is well suited to this format. It keeps the body clean and narrow, while allowing the user to move between OFF, laser and flashlight modes without extra external controls. The 52 m beam distance is appropriate for close to moderate working distances, and the 1.3 hr runtime fits the short, repeated tasks for which a penlight is typically used. Power comes from 1x AAA battery, which is easy to replace and helps preserve the compact dimensions.

Build quality is another practical strength. The Delta Force PL uses anodized aluminum construction with a spring steel clip, so it is better prepared for pocket carry, repeated clipping and everyday knocks than a lightweight disposable-style penlight. The included Schmidt P900 black ink insert also reinforces that this is meant to function as a real pen, not just a novelty multi-tool. For users looking for a compact tactical flashlight with added utility, this model offers a focused and practical feature set.
