Safariland 5198 Open Top Paddle and Belt Loop Holster for SIG P226 STXTAC

1. Dual Carry System: This holster package includes both a paddle and a belt loop, offering exceptional versatility for the user. The paddle allows for quick on-and-off application, ideal for range days or temporary carry, while the belt loop provides a more stable and secure platform for all-day wear.

2. SafariLaminate™ Construction: Built using Safariland's renowned SafariLaminate™ material, this holster is thermoformed to provide a perfect, firearm-specific fit. This rugged construction ensures long-lasting durability, impact resistance, and protection against the elements, making it suitable for duty and field use.

3. Adjustable Passive Retention: The holster features a detent with an adjustable tension device that provides reliable passive retention. It securely grips the trigger guard of the Sig P226, holding the firearm firmly in place while still allowing for a smooth and rapid draw without the need to deactivate any locking mechanisms.

4. Protective Suede Lining: To preserve the condition of your firearm, the interior of the holster is lined with soft suede. This feature prevents scratches and wear on your Sig P226's finish, even with repeated drawing and holstering, ensuring your sidearm remains in pristine condition.

ABOUT THE SAFARILAND PADDLE/BELT LOOP HOLSTER

The Safariland Paddle/Belt Loop Holster for the Sig P226 is a versatile and reliable Outside-the-Waistband (OWB) solution designed for open carry, range use, or plainclothes duty. Its key differentiator is the inclusion of two distinct mounting systems right out of the box: a comfortable, body-contouring paddle and a sturdy belt loop. This allows users to adapt their carry method based on their needs. Constructed from a durable, thermal-molded SafariLaminate™ material, the holster offers a precise fit and excellent protection for the firearm. The retention system is based on a simple yet effective adjustable detent, which provides secure passive retention on the trigger guard while enabling a quick, unhindered draw. A suede lining further protects the gun's finish from wear. This combination of durability, versatility, and firearm protection makes it a top choice for law enforcement officers, competitive shooters, and private citizens seeking a high-quality OWB holster.
