Safariland 6280 SLS Level II Retention Holster for SIG P226R STXTAC

1. Level II Retention™: This holster features the renowned Self Locking System (SLS), a rotating hood design that is deactivated with the thumb during the draw. This active retention device, combined with a passive tensioning screw, provides a highly secure, Level II retention rating, trusted by law enforcement agencies worldwide to prevent unauthorized access to the firearm.

2. Durable SafariLaminate™ Construction: The holster is built from Safariland's proprietary SafariLaminate™ material, a thermal-molded composite that is extremely rugged and resistant to impacts, abrasion, and moisture. This durable shell protects the firearm while a soft suede lining guards against scratches and wear on the gun’s finish and sights.

3. Optimized for Duty Use: The mid-ride belt position places the grip of the pistol at a natural height for a quick and intuitive draw. This design is a staple for patrol and duty officers, offering a perfect balance between weapon security, comfort during long shifts, and accessibility when seconds count.

4. Engineered for a Precise Fit: Designed specifically for the SIG Sauer P220 and P226 models, this holster ensures a perfect, non-slip fit right out of the box. The precise molding eliminates movement and rattle, providing a stable platform for carrying a sidearm in demanding environments.

ABOUT THE SAFARILAND 6280 SLS MID-RIDE HOLSTER

The Safariland 6280 SLS Mid-Ride holster is a global standard for law enforcement duty holsters, renowned for its blend of security and speed. What sets this model apart is the iconic Self Locking System (SLS), a rotating hood that provides an extra layer of retention over a standard friction-fit holster. This Level II Retention™ system is intuitive for the user, allowing for a smooth, single-motion draw, yet it remains incredibly secure against takeaway attempts. Constructed from rugged SafariLaminate™ polymer, it withstands the rigors of daily patrol use while protecting the firearm's finish with an internal suede lining. Its mid-ride position offers a comfortable carry and a natural draw angle, making it the preferred choice for patrol officers, security professionals, and tactical operators who require absolute reliability without compromising accessibility.
