Rusan Pivot Mount without Bases for Winchester XPR, 25.4 mm

• Pivot quick-release design: The mount lets the scope be removed and reattached with a repeatable pivot interface, which is useful for rifles that alternate between optical sights and open sights or for transport and storage.
• Made for Winchester XPR rifles: This version is configured for the Winchester XPR platform, giving a rifle-specific fit with the correct upper assembly for the action when paired with the appropriate pivot bases.
• 25.4 mm (1 inch) ring size: The mount accepts traditional 1 inch scope tubes, making it a practical choice for classic hunting optics that prioritize moderate weight and compact proportions.
• Steel construction: A steel mount body adds the rigidity and wear resistance needed for repeated attachment cycles, helping the scope stay secure under field use and recoil.
• Without bases configuration: This upper-only version is intended for rifles that already use compatible Rusan or EAW pivot bases, so it can replace or change the ring assembly without replacing the entire mounting system.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts are built as a dedicated line of rifle-specific optics mounts for hunters and shooters who want a detachable system without giving up a solid mechanical interface. Within the company’s mounting range, this series covers both complete mounts with bases and pivot mounts sold without bases, which makes it easier to adapt the setup to an existing rifle or to change only the upper portion of the mount.

The series is defined by its steel construction and quick-release fixation. In practical use, that combination matters because a pivot mount must do two things well: lock the optic firmly in place during recoil and allow removal when the rifle needs a different sighting arrangement. Rusan offers the series for many rifle makes and mounting interfaces, including model-specific versions and variants for different scope tube diameters. That broad compatibility makes the line especially relevant for traditional hunting rifles where a low, secure and repeatable detachable mount is preferred over a universal rail-and-ring setup.

About the Rusan Pivot Mount without Bases for Winchester XPR, 25.4 mm

This Rusan Pivot Mount without Bases for Winchester XPR, 25.4 mm is the upper part of a detachable pivot mounting system for the Winchester XPR. It is intended for rifles already equipped with compatible Rusan or EAW pivot bases, allowing the shooter to add a scope mount without replacing the base hardware on the rifle. That makes it a sensible option when updating an existing setup, changing ring diameter, or keeping more than one optic ready for the same rifle platform.

The mount is built for 25.4 mm (1 inch) scope tubes, a common format on many classic hunting scopes. In practice, that suits compact and medium-sized optics well, especially on a bolt-action rifle such as the XPR where a straightforward, durable hunting setup is often preferred. The pivot quick-release system is useful when the scope must come off for transport, maintenance or a switch to another sighting arrangement, while the steel body supports long-term durability and secure clamping. Finished in black, the mount keeps a restrained appearance that matches most riflescopes and hunting rifles. As a mount supplied without bases, it is designed specifically as the upper assembly rather than a complete rifle-to-scope package.

About Rusan

Rusan is a Croatian manufacturer focused on firearms mounting solutions and related metal components. The company’s roots go back to 1983 in the Rusan family’s metalworking business, and Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986. Scope-mount production followed in 1993, establishing the company’s long-standing specialization in this category. Rusan-Mikron is based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia.

Today, the company produces scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails and firearm tuning products, along with adapter systems for clip-on and electro-optic devices. Rusan introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009 and also manufactures adapters for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices. That background is relevant here because it shows a clear emphasis on precise fit, repeatable attachment and compatibility across different rifles and optics platforms.
