Rusan Pivot mount without bases for Merkel SR1, Pard NV008, one-piece

• One-piece upper for Pard NV008: This mount is built specifically for the Pard NV008 mounting standard, giving the digital night-vision unit a secure and correctly aligned interface for repeatable installation.
• Pivot-mount design: The classic pivot system allows fast attachment and removal while keeping the mounting geometry consistent, which is important when a rifle is used with and without a night-vision device.
• Without bases: Supplied as the upper mount only, it is the right choice for users who already have the correct Rusan Pivot base on a Merkel SR1 and only need the device-specific top section.
• One-piece construction: The single-piece layout supports the Pard NV008 as one unit, helping maintain rigidity and reducing unnecessary joints in the mounting setup.
• Croatian-made steelwork tradition: Made by Rusan in Croatia, this mount reflects the brand’s long focus on precision-machined scope mounts and adapters for hunting optics and night-vision equipment.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal are designed for hunters and shooters who want to fit modern electro-optics to established rifle platforms without abandoning a proven quick-detach mounting system. In Rusan’s current catalog, the series covers a wide range of rifle fits and device interfaces, including options for night-vision and thermal devices from brands such as Pard, Pulsar, HIKMICRO, InfiRay, ATN, Dedal, PixFra, and Yukon. That broad compatibility makes the series especially relevant for users who run different rifles and digital sighting systems but want a consistent mounting concept.

A defining feature of the series is that Rusan offers both complete pivot mounts with bases and upper parts without bases. This gives more flexibility when a rifle already carries the correct lower base and only the device-specific top section needs to be changed. The catalog also shows variants matched to different rifle mounting interfaces and model-specific fits, so the system is built around practical compatibility rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. For night-hunting setups, that matters because the mount has to match both the rifle and the device precisely if the combination is to remain compact, secure, and easy to remove when conditions change.

About the Rusan Pivot mount without bases for Merkel SR1, Pard NV008, one-piece

This Rusan Pivot mount without bases for Merkel SR1 is a device-specific upper assembly made for the Pard NV008 and intended to pair with the appropriate Rusan Pivot base on the Merkel SR1. In practical terms, it is aimed at shooters who already use the Rusan pivot system on their rifle and want a dedicated top section for a digital night-vision sight rather than a conventional daytime optic. Because it is supplied without bases, it avoids duplicating hardware that may already be installed on the rifle.

The one-piece construction is important here. A one-piece upper keeps the mounting interface simple and rigid, which is especially useful with a digital device such as the Pard NV008, where stable positioning helps preserve alignment and handling. The pivot format also makes sense in the field: the sight can be attached or removed quickly, while the rifle remains set up around the same base system. That is valuable for hunters who alternate between daytime and low-light use and want a mounting solution that does not require a full reconfiguration of the rifle.

Finished in black and made by Rusan in Croatia, this mount fits into a product family known for model-specific compatibility rather than generic adapters. For a Merkel SR1 owner using the Pard NV008 mounting standard, that means a cleaner and more purpose-built connection between rifle and night-vision device.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, and the company’s metalworking roots go back to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the business moved into the production of scope mounts in 1993. That background is directly relevant to products such as pivot mounts, because the company developed around precision machining for the interface between firearm and optic.

Today, Rusan manufactures scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning products, along with adapter systems for clip-on sights and for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices. The company introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009 and has built a strong reputation among hunters and shooting enthusiasts for practical, model-specific mounting solutions. In this category, Rusan is particularly known for making adapters and mounts that connect modern optical and digital sighting devices to a wide variety of rifle platforms.
