Rusan Pivot mount without bases for Browning X-Bolt, Pard NV008, one-piece

• Pivot design for NV optics: This one-piece upper mount is built around the Pard NV008 interface, giving a stable and repeatable way to fit a digital night-vision sight to a pivot-mount rifle setup.
• Without bases configuration: Supplied as the upper part only, it is the right choice for shooters who already have compatible pivot bases on a Browning X-Bolt and want to keep the existing lower mounting hardware.
• Quick-release handling: The pivot system is designed for fast attachment and removal, which helps when switching between optics or transporting the rifle while preserving the practical convenience of a detachable setup.
• One-piece construction: The single-piece layout supports the sight as one unit, which helps maintain alignment and gives a clean, mechanically simple mounting solution for field use.
• Steel build: Made from steel, the mount is suited to repeated use on hunting rifles where durability, secure clamping and resistance to wear matter more than saving a small amount of weight.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal are purpose-built for shooters who want to fit digital night-vision and thermal devices to traditional hunting rifles without giving up the familiar handling of a classic pivot-mount system. The series is centered on device-specific upper parts and rifle-specific interfaces, so the mount is matched both to the optic and to the firearm rather than relying on a generic compromise. In the catalog, the range covers different rifle mounting standards, including 11 mm, 16.5 mm and 19 mm prism interfaces, alongside model-specific solutions for many popular sporting rifles.

A defining trait of the series is its broad compatibility with modern electro-optics. Rusan lists versions for brands such as Pard, Pulsar, HIKMICRO, ATN and Yukon, which makes the line especially relevant for hunters moving from conventional daytime optics to digital or thermal observation and aiming systems. The series also includes both complete pivot mounts with bases and upper parts without bases, allowing the user either to build a full mounting set or to reuse existing pivot bases on the rifle. That modular approach makes the range practical for mixed day-and-night rifle setups.

About the Rusan Pivot mount without bases for Browning X-Bolt, Pard NV008, one-piece

This Rusan pivot mount without bases is a dedicated upper assembly for combining a Browning X-Bolt pivot-base setup with the Pard NV008 mounting standard. Its role is very specific: it lets the rifle keep a classic pivot-mount arrangement while adapting it to a digital night-vision sight that has different mounting needs from a conventional riflescope. Because it is supplied without bases, it suits rifles that already carry compatible EAW or Rusan pivot bases for the X-Bolt platform.

The one-piece construction is important in practice because it supports the sight in a single rigid unit rather than splitting the upper mounting surface into separate ring elements. That layout makes particular sense for digital optics such as the NV008, where consistent alignment and secure support matter for dependable use in low-light hunting. The quick-release pivot format also adds flexibility: the sight can be removed or reattached more conveniently than with a fixed mount, which is useful when alternating between daytime and night-time setups or when packing the rifle for transport.

Rusan builds the mount from steel, prioritizing strength, wear resistance and secure engagement with the pivot mechanism. For a hunting rifle used with night-vision equipment, that material choice supports long-term durability under repeated mounting cycles. The result is a specialized mounting solution for shooters who want a clean, rifle-specific and device-specific way to fit a Pard NV008 to a Browning X-Bolt.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is a Croatian manufacturer based in Marija Bistrica, with roots in the Rusan family’s metalworking business dating back to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993. That background helps explain why Rusan remains closely associated with practical firearm interface components rather than general sporting goods.

The company focuses on scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails and firearm tuning products, and it is also well known for adapters for clip-on night-vision and thermal devices. Rusan introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009, a product type that became widely recognized among hunters and shooters using front-mounted electro-optics. Today, the brand’s catalog spans traditional mounting solutions and specialized interfaces for modern digital and thermal equipment, making it particularly relevant in the field of hunting optics accessories.
