Rusan Pivot mount for Sauer 303, Pard NV008, one-piece

• One-piece pivot design: Keeps the mount and device interface in one unit, which simplifies installation and helps maintain consistent alignment when the Pard NV008 is removed and reattached.
• Quick-release operation: The pivot system is built for fast attachment and removal, making it practical for hunters who need to switch between setups without a lengthy re-zeroing routine.
• Sauer 303-specific fit: Made for the Sauer 303 / ISI interface, this mount gives a model-matched connection that suits the rifle properly instead of relying on a more generic rail solution.
• Pard NV008 compatibility: Designed around the Pard NV008 mounting standard, it provides the correct interface for secure use of this night-vision optic on a hunting rifle.
• Steel construction: The steel body adds rigidity and wear resistance, which is important on a detachable mount that must return to position reliably after repeated use.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal are built as dedicated mounting solutions for hunters and shooters who use night-vision and thermal devices on conventional sporting rifles. Within Rusan’s catalog, this series covers device-specific versions for units such as Pard, Pulsar, HIKMICRO, ATN and Yukon, rather than treating digital and thermal optics as a one-size-fits-all category. That approach matters in practice because these devices often need their own interface geometry, balance and locking arrangement.

The series also stands out for its broad rifle compatibility. Rusan offers versions matched to different rifle mounting interfaces and model families, including prism-based systems and rifle-specific fits. Some models are supplied as complete mounts with bases, while others are available as upper parts for an existing pivot setup. Across the range, the design philosophy is straightforward: a detachable pivot mount that gives fast handling, secure lock-up and a clean fit on hunting rifles that are used with modern digital or thermal sighting equipment. For users who want a removable setup without resorting to a universal rail conversion, this series provides a more rifle-specific solution.

About the Rusan Pivot mount for Sauer 303, Pard NV008, one-piece

The Rusan Pivot mount for Sauer 303, Pard NV008, one-piece is a dedicated detachable mount for combining a Pard NV008 with the Sauer 303 platform. Its main advantage is specificity: instead of adapting the optic through a generic interface, this mount is built around both the rifle fit and the sight standard. That usually translates into a neater installation, more predictable positioning and better day-to-day usability in the field.

The one-piece construction keeps the mounting assembly simple and rigid, which is especially useful with digital night-vision optics that benefit from stable positioning behind the rifle. Because it is a pivot mount, the unit is intended for shooters who value quick removal and reattachment. On a hunting rifle, that can be important when moving between transport, storage and active use, or when the rifle is shared between different sighting setups.

Steel construction adds durability where it matters most: at the locking surfaces and load-bearing parts of the mount. Repeated attachment cycles place stress on these areas, so a steel body is a sensible choice for long-term consistency. The black finish keeps the appearance discreet and visually matched to modern rifles and digital optics. Overall, this mount is best understood as a purpose-built interface for hunters who want a secure, quick-release Sauer 303 mounting solution for the Pard NV008 without adding unnecessary complexity.

About Rusan

Rusan is a Croatian manufacturer based in Marija Bistrica, with roots in the Rusan family’s metalworking business dating back to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993. That background is important because it explains why mounting solutions remain central to the brand’s identity.

Today, Rusan focuses on scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails and related firearm components, while also producing adapter clamps for clip-on night-vision and thermal devices. The company introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009, reflecting a long-running specialization in the interface between rifles and modern optics. In practical terms, Rusan has built its reputation on making model-specific mounting hardware for sporting and hunting rifles, with a product range that spans conventional optical sights as well as digital, night-vision and thermal equipment.
