ABOUT THE RECKNAGEL TWO-PIECE WEAVER BASE FOR SAUER 80 / 90 / 92

The Recknagel Two-Piece Weaver Base for Sauer 80 / 90 / 92 offers an economically viable and lightweight mounting solution compared to monolithic Picatinny rails. Crafted from durable black anodised aluminium, it provides a robust yet feathery foundation for your rifle scope, making it particularly attractive for hunters seeking to minimize their rifle's overall weight for extended field carry. This design is specifically contoured for the Sauer 80, 90, and 92 rifle series, ensuring a flush and secure fit. While two-piece Weaver bases represent the most affordable method for mounting a rifle scope with Weaver rings, it is crucial to understand that their installation demands precise alignment across all height, longitudinal, and horizontal axes. Failure to achieve this can lead to scope tube stress, flex, and misalignment, negatively impacting accuracy. Therefore, professional installation by a skilled gunsmith is highly recommended to ensure optimal performance and longevity for dedicated hunters and recreational shooters. This base is engineered for those who appreciate traditional mounting options and prioritize a lightweight setup for their European hunting expeditions.
