Recknagel Tip-Off Rings with Windage for 11mm Dovetail,, 30.0 mm

• Tip-off design: This detachable mount lets the scope come off quickly for transport, cleaning or switching optics, while keeping the setup simple and compact on rifles with an 11 mm dovetail.
• Windage adjustment: Built-in lateral adjustment helps align the optic more precisely to the rifle, reducing the need to use up internal scope correction and preserving more adjustment range for zeroing.
• 30 mm ring format: The mount fits scopes with a 30 mm main tube, a common choice for hunting optics and sporting rifles where a broad selection of modern scopes is important.
• Steel construction: A steel build gives the mount the rigidity and wear resistance needed for repeated installation and removal, helping maintain a secure hold over long-term use.
• 0 MOA inclination: The neutral alignment suits general hunting and sporting use, keeping the optic centered for conventional zeroing distances without adding cant to the setup.

About the Recknagel Tip-off Mount Series

The Recknagel Tip-off Mount series belongs to the company’s scope-mount range for hunting and sporting firearms. Within the series, Recknagel offers versions for classic scope tubes as well as models with integrated interfaces for popular optic rails, giving the line broad compatibility across traditional and modern riflescope formats. Scope-tube versions are listed for 26, 30, 34, 36 and 40 mm diameters, while rail variants cover profiles such as 70-degree, 45-degree Zeiss internal, Swarovski SR, S&B Convex and Weaver/Picatinny.

The series is built around a practical detachable concept: a mount that can be removed when needed without the bulk of larger tactical-style systems. That makes it well suited to rifles used for field shooting, hunting and general sporting applications where low weight, straightforward handling and a clean rifle profile matter. In the broader Recknagel lineup, the Tip-off Mount series sits as a traditional, mechanically simple solution for shooters who want a removable mount with model-specific fit options rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

About the Recknagel Tip-Off Rings with Windage for 11mm Dovetail,, 30.0 mm

The Recknagel Tip-Off Rings with Windage for 11mm Dovetail,, 30.0 mm is a detachable ring mount made for rifles that use an 11 mm dovetail and for optics with a 30 mm main tube. This combination is especially relevant for rimfire and sporting rifles, where the 11 mm dovetail remains common and where a compact mounting solution is often preferred over heavier rail-based systems. By using separate rings in a tip-off format, the mount keeps the rifle trim and avoids unnecessary bulk.

Its defining feature is adjustable windage. In practical use, this allows the scope to be aligned more closely with the rifle before final zeroing. That can be valuable on rifles where receiver tolerances, dovetail geometry or optic alignment would otherwise force the shooter to use excessive internal windage correction in the scope. Preserving more of the riflescope’s own adjustment range can help keep the optical system closer to center and makes zeroing more straightforward.

The mount uses a steel construction and a 0 MOA inclination. Steel is a sensible choice for a detachable mount because it resists wear at the clamping surfaces and provides the rigidity needed for repeatable positioning over time. The neutral 0 MOA layout suits normal hunting and sporting distances, making this mount a practical fit for small-bore target rifles, rimfires and other 11 mm dovetail platforms that do not require built-in elevation cant.

About Recknagel

Recknagel is a German manufacturer of firearm and riflescope mounting systems, sights and hunting accessories. The company’s history began in 1867, when Adolf Recknagel started manufacturing firearm sights in Albrechts near Suhl, Thuringia. Over time, the range expanded to include scope mounts, Picatinny rails, triggers, safeties and hunting silencers, reflecting a long focus on mechanical components for sporting and hunting firearms.

A more recent part of the company’s development was the launch of the ERATAC line in 2010, which broadened Recknagel’s presence in tactical mounts and accessories. In 2006, the company relocated from Schweinfurt to Bergrheinfeld, and in 2022 it was acquired by Dr. Moritz Fehrer. Across its product range, Recknagel is known for mount designs that emphasize precise fit, durable materials and application-specific solutions for both traditional hunting rifles and modern shooting platforms.
