Recknagel Polyform Lever for QD Mount

• Polyform lever design: gives a quick-detach mount a broad, easy-to-grip operating surface, so the mount can be opened and closed more confidently in the field and with less fumbling.
• Parallel lever positioning: Recknagel’s Polyform lever system is designed so the levers can be aligned in a parallel end position, which keeps the mount neat, reduces snag points, and improves handling around the action and optic.
• Purpose-built for QD mounts: this accessory is made specifically for detachable mount systems, making it a practical replacement or upgrade part for keeping a proven mounting setup in service.
• German manufacture: made in Germany, this lever matches the expectations of shooters and gunsmiths who want precise fit and dependable hardware for mounting work.
• Compact mounting accessory: as a dedicated mount component rather than a universal improvised part, it supports a cleaner, more secure installation on compatible Recknagel quick-detach mounts.

About the Recknagel Accesories Series

Recknagel Accesories covers the company’s supporting components for hunting and sporting firearms, with a focus on the practical parts that keep mounting systems and sighting setups adaptable over time. The series sits alongside Recknagel’s core scope-mount range and reflects the same emphasis on functional, workshop-friendly design. Rather than being limited to complete mounts, the line also includes accessories and spare parts that help shooters and gunsmiths configure, maintain, or restore a mounting solution to the exact rifle and optic combination in use.

Within this family, the emphasis is on modularity, compatibility with common hunting-weapon applications, and the kind of detail parts that matter once a rifle is actually being fitted and used. The broader range spans mounts, rails, accessories, and related hardware for hunting and sporting firearms, so the series is relevant not only to end users but also to gunsmiths who need dependable components for installation and service work. That makes the series especially useful for shooters who value a mounting system that can be adjusted, repaired, or refined instead of replaced outright.

About the Recknagel Polyform Lever for QD Mount

The Recknagel Polyform Lever for QD Mount is a dedicated mounting accessory for shooters who rely on a quick-detach mount and want the operating hardware to remain dependable, tidy, and easy to handle. As a purpose-built lever for compatible Recknagel detachable mounts, it plays an important role in how the mount is opened, closed, and secured during installation or removal of an optic. That matters on hunting rifles and sporting setups where an optic may be removed for transport, swapped between sighting systems, or detached for access and maintenance.

The practical advantage of the Polyform lever lies in handling. Its shape provides a more substantial gripping surface than a small fastening element, making operation easier when working quickly or in poor weather. Recknagel also uses this lever style on Picatinny and Weaver mount systems where the levers can be set to a parallel end position. In use, that helps keep the mount streamlined and reduces protrusions that can catch on clothing, slings, or rifle cases. For the shooter, the result is not just cleaner appearance but more convenient day-to-day handling around the rifle’s receiver and optic.

Because this is a Germany-made Recknagel component intended specifically for mount applications, it suits users who prefer to maintain an existing premium mounting system with the correct factory part. For gunsmithing work, refurbishment, or replacing a worn or damaged lever on a detachable mount, it supports a more precise and consistent setup than a generic substitute.

About Recknagel

Recknagel is a German manufacturer whose history began in 1867, when Adolf Recknagel started producing firearm sights in Albrechts near Suhl, Thuringia. The company is known for its work in riflescope mounting systems, firearm sights, and hunting accessories, with a product range that also includes Picatinny rails, triggers, safeties, and hunting silencers. This long focus on the mechanical interface between firearm and optic is what makes the brand especially relevant in the mounting category.

Over time, Recknagel expanded its portfolio while keeping a strong connection to precision shooting and hunting applications. The company introduced the ERATAC line of tactical mounts and accessories in 2010, broadening its appeal beyond traditional hunting setups. Recknagel relocated from Schweinfurt to Bergrheinfeld in 2006, and in 2022 the company was acquired by Dr. Moritz Fehrer. Today, the brand remains closely associated with German-made mounting solutions and practical firearm hardware.
