RCBS Matchmaster Powder Funnel Adapter .338

• Caliber-Specific Fit: The .338 adapter is shaped for a precise fit with .338-caliber case mouths, helping guide powder directly into the case and reducing spills on the bench.
• MatchMaster System Compatibility: Designed for use with the RCBS MatchMaster Powder Funnel, it turns the funnel into a caliber-matched setup that is faster and cleaner to use during repetitive loading sessions.
• Cleaner Powder Flow: RCBS uses a unique interior design to keep powder moving smoothly into the case, which helps maintain a tidy workflow and reduces wasted powder.
• Useful for Rifle and Pistol Reloading Systems: The MatchMaster adapter concept is built around caliber-specific control, giving reloaders a more consistent handoff from measured charge to case mouth.
• Compact Bench Accessory: As a small dedicated adapter rather than a universal compromise part, it is easy to keep with a caliber-specific loading setup and quick to swap when changing cartridges.

About the MatchMaster Series

The RCBS MatchMaster series sits in the company’s premium reloading lineup and is aimed at reloaders who want more control, repeatability, and speed at the bench. Across the series, the focus is on reducing small inconsistencies that can interrupt workflow or affect load uniformity, whether that means more precise powder handling, better fit between components, or easier setup changes between calibers.

Within the MatchMaster family, RCBS applies a design approach built around purpose-made parts rather than one-size-fits-all compromises. In the powder handling products, that means dedicated adapters, funnels, and related accessories that work together as a system. The goal is straightforward: keep powder moving cleanly, minimize bridging or spillage, and make each step of the loading process more predictable. For reloaders assembling precision rifle ammunition or simply trying to improve efficiency during regular loading sessions, the MatchMaster range is intended to bring a more refined, caliber-specific feel to routine bench work.

About the RCBS Matchmaster Powder Funnel Adapter .338

The RCBS Matchmaster Powder Funnel Adapter .338 is a caliber-specific reloading accessory made for use with the RCBS MatchMaster Powder Funnel. Its role is simple but important: it creates a more exact interface between the funnel system and .338 / 8.58 mm case mouths, so powder is directed into the case with less chance of granules catching the edge or spilling outside the neck. That matters most when working carefully measured charges, where clean transfer helps keep the loading area orderly and reduces wasted powder.

Because this adapter is dedicated to .338-caliber bullets, it is better suited to a caliber-organized loading bench than a universal funnel arrangement. The precise fit supports smoother operation when charging cases one after another, especially for reloaders who value consistency in handling as much as consistency in the finished load. RCBS also gives these MatchMaster adapters a unique interior design intended to promote clean powder flow, which is useful when working with different smokeless powder shapes and trying to maintain an efficient rhythm at the bench.

In practical use, this adapter is less about adding complexity and more about removing small interruptions. By matching the funnel system to the cartridge family being loaded, it helps make powder charging faster, neater, and more repeatable within a dedicated reloading setup.

About RCBS

RCBS was founded in 1943 by Fred T. Huntington in Oroville, California. The company built its reputation around ammunition handloading equipment, and the RCBS name came from “Rock Chuck Bullet Swage,” Huntington’s original bullet-swaging die. Over time, RCBS expanded into a broad reloading catalog that includes presses, dies, shell holders, powder measures, and priming tools.

RCBS specializes in rifle and pistol reloading equipment and remains closely associated with bench tools designed for repeatable, methodical ammunition assembly. Its lineup covers single-stage, turret, and progressive press systems, reflecting a long-standing focus on both precision-oriented and high-volume reloaders. In 2024, RCBS became a brand of Hodgdon Powder Company, while continuing the product heritage that made the name well known among handloaders in the United States.
